Hello Everyone,

I've been a member for a few weeks, so thought it was time to introduce myself.

I've been playing fruit machines for about 10 years, mostly with my Dad (who is in his 70s) - we used to be able to play a machine all night, and have fun and not lose that much money, but machines nowadays are pretty crap. My favourites are Lockbuster Club, Caesars Palace Club, and Casino Crazy. We mostly play club machines, but occasionally go into pubs and play the £35 jackpot ones.

There are loads of Deal or no Deal bandits around at the moment, and I haven't found one I like yet.

Before fruit machines I used to design computer games for Rare Ltd, and before that programmed my own games on an old Atari 800XL computer.

I think this is a great site, it's nice to play some of my favourites again, that can't be found in the clubs any more. Plus there are hundreds that I have never seen and can play for the first time - a really good one I downloaded recently (can't remember by whom) was Firecracker!

Greetings to you all,
TT.

Rare ltd?

as in rareware the company who did donkey kong/Banjo kazooie?

Welcome to the site

and as for getting around the links in the navigation bar (at the right of the page) should help and the best forum to post in depends on the topic

but it will most likely fall under any topic chat or general FME discussion

Hope this helps :)

Edit: as for high spirits id ask someone to pm it you

emipre roms aren't hosted on this site any more at the request of empire themselves

Welcome. ;)

Why does it seem that all the new members lately have made themselves members here in November 2008, but it has taken three months to make their first posts?

Strange, but true in most of the cases.

Two weeks ago I all started with MAME EMU for the arcade games, when crossing roads of EMU's i found out that there where also EMU for Pinball and of course Fruit Machines.

WHoa, A whole new world opened for me, I really like this stuff, the sound, the nostalgic of playing, the graphics but definitely the craftsmanship of the designers and builder, really my respect. I know how much time and effert it takes.

This site is absolutely helpfull, but the set of the fruit roms from the JPE still not working, i can not figure it out, i have also little EMulations tiredness, sometimes i cant remember wich emu belongs where, witch rom, for what, it is growing and growing aswell in MB harddisk size matter of speaking.

I will post one these days for help, but the right use of the forums are not my biggest skills.

Great site with great stuff, i really like this kind of community and harmony....

Hi all,
Love playing fruities before/after and sometimes, if its quiet, even during work!

My favourite at the minute, rightly or wrongly, is vivids hi lo karate which im have some trouble getting hold of from here, keeps telling me

festivalmatt, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

  • Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  • If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I tried going to the download section (Fruit-Emu (Fruit Machine Emulation) - Download: - Hi Lo Karate 1600DX) where it says its in a moderation queue.
Also tried forum thread (Hi Lo Karate 1600 - Fruit Forums)
Any ideas please?

Thanks to all who made all these files on here and i really enjoy playing them, keep up the good work.
