same, kia ora mate from new zealand.

I grew up on Snappy Viper as a kid, like thousands of other kids. We were addicted as.
There was an exploit on this machine - during the Lucky Dip, Hyper Series wins were made exchangeable if you turned the machine off and turned it back on, after getting awarded them.
When the nachine started it would give you all the wins promised but this time you could exchange for nudges each time.

Cheers

Thansk for the post Johnny and welcome to Fruit-Emu. Your trick on snappy viper had me floored as I thought I knew all of those.

Cheers

Oh hello, i have been registered here a week now and only just stumbled upon this bit so here goes...

My name is Neil and i live in Gloucestershire.
I have played fruit machines since it was legal to do so and TBH even before that! :policeman:
I work in a bar 2 nights a week within a community center and we have machines there so i see lots of things.
I do play the machines there but only on my nights off but i only go there about 2 other nights a week.

Now i tend to stay home more often playing free ones on my laptop as i tended to put far too much in the ones where i work!

Our latest machine where i work is Star Wars, A new Hope and i have won the £70 from it once, but one other person has had it 3 times!!

I will enjoy this looking through this forum and participating in it :)

Hello Thunderstorm and welcome to Fruit-EMU. With a nick like that I am sure Todd will be interested; he loves thunderstorms.

You are from a very good part of the country there, and I should know :D

Cheers

Hi all! Came across this site a few days ago and thought best to register out of respect after downloading numerous FM files from here. Congrats to site owners for a very informative, friendly and useful site.

I've been using MAME on and off over the years and always wondered about the possibility of Fruit Machine games being emulated. That's when I came across MFME which is a doddle to use and emulates those classics (and more recent) perfectly.

I used to be a FM addict about 22 years ago. Used to travel home from work, get out of the train station and straight into the local Arcade. Spent a fortune and nothing to show for it. Mind you, those were the days when payouts used to be tokens! Fortunately, through own will-power I kicked the gambling habit within about six months. So playing FM's via MFME is great!

Thanks again for this great site and all the hard work you guys do in providing FM games. :D

Hi muppet, (that sounds friendly already! lol)

The site is owned and set-up by Duplu.

Luckily for us 'we' the members are left to our own devices, and without us it would be bland (as any site would).

Become familiar with other regulars and enjoy reading the forums and Shout-Box...but of course join in and become familiar yourself.

Thanks to YOU for taking the time to post a 'hello' too....WE appriciate that too you know!

Yeah I've got to say that's what we like to read in a first post.

Beats 'is there DOND on here?'

Glad you like the emulations Muppetboy and Welcome to the site. Hope to hear more from you in the future :)

Also, you're welcome to sign up at DADsFME anytime :)

Thanks for the Welcome, guys. :D

I like your philosophy. Same with my website. I always tell members that it's "there's" as without them, it wouldn't be where it is today. :)

Hey everyone. Was last on here a few years ago and I'm glad to see you're all still going strong. I'm hoping 1 of my favourite bandits of all time is around 'Mike Reid's Big night out'. I spent a small fortune on that bandit evry friday night, totally addicted, I was heartbroken when the club I went to changed it. Anyway, I'm hoping it's been created so I can relive some happy memories.
Great looking site, can't wait to delve in. Many Thanks.
