Hey there... go to www.selectamuse.co.uk.
Its a brilliant place to buy one, and the after sales service, and the service in general is ou't of this world... its brill. i have bought one from there, but because each part is repaired or new, they can go up to about £350 quick INCLUDING delivery.
Hope all goes well m8.

You'd be best looking in the local paper/Friday Ad for that. Prices online are totally unreasonable. OR You could go to this magazine called Yellow Pages and have a look under amusement machines or something like that!
This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums
(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

I have had 3 now and have all come from ebay. The main problem I had was finding them near to me for collection. I had no knowledge at all when I got my 1st one but after having a poke and a fiddle with different switches and settings I have tought myself the basics of how to keep one going. ( Also a bit of help from the guys on here). It all depends how new a machine you want as ebay seem to be a couple of years old. There are licensed sellers selling on there for usually about £150 for a good machine.

hey mate, i went to my local arcade and asked them if they were looking at getting rid of any. i got my Austin Powers machine for £120 with all the decals etc. excellent condition. the only thing is there not actually allowed to sell you a fully working machine, but they can sell you one thats not quite right and easily fixable *nudge nudge wink wink*. check your local arcade and see if there clearing any space for some section 16 machines.

If you read most ebay listings they all say " payout tubes have been disabled to comply with ebay listings" but suprise suprise all the ones I have bought have been connected.the only thing is there not actually allowed to sell you a fully working machine, but they can sell you one thats not quite right and easily fixable *nudge nudge wink wink*.

I always use SE Leisure to buy my machines.
http://www.seleisure.com/ 01622 791617.
You can get almost any hi tec machine on the market including many new machines. Prices are very good, lower than some other companies but
even better quality.

I suppose the obvious place to look for fruitys is e-bay, but can't be 100% sure if it's completely working or if it's going to come at all! Apparantly it's e-bay's rules to only sell machines with the hoppers disconnected therefore making it only playable on test.
Or you could have a look in a yellow pages. There's always a fruity shop or a warehouse which sell 'em nearby. Or if you know someone with a machine maybe ask 'em if they are willing to sell their machine (only if you like it of course) :-)

Surely there must be something in the trade descriptions act to stop this happening? I'm probably talking a load of bollox but if your intending to buy a machine, you would expect it to have a working hopper, reels and so forth otherwise its not fit for its purpose. Must look into this further...:secret:

only a company registered with the gaming board may sell a fruit machine that still has the hoppers etc in working order. Even then a waiver needs to be signed by the buyer to say it is for private usage.
The main reason behind this is so that a machine is not sold to somebody and then used in public areas or to profit from. Its all linked back to the licensing laws relating to gambling

Hi, I'm new to this board, but I can confirm that the last statement is correct, I myself bought a machine (Reel Thing - ACE) from EBay recently, and it is fully functional, but you do have to sign the waver.
Hope it doesnt include making a profit from family members. hehehe.
cheers

thats why some people who sell on ebay now include their gaming license number so they can sell the machines with the hopper and mech fitted.
i do believe you can sell a machine that will only accept tokens and payout in tokens without a license, like the pachshilo machines or whatever they are called.

mind you all teh seller has to do is disconnect the relevant things, even if they are left in place, up to the buyer then if they want to plug 'em back in.

yeah i agree, surely it's the buyer who gets to say if he wants 'em in or not.
Be bit out of order if you buy a machine to save some money, only to find out you can't put any money in it.
