Did you download it as part of MFMEv1 or just download the JPM emulator itself?

You may be playing it in the wrong version of the emulator.

Although the Fruit Machine Emulator Installation Wizard is good, it's not the latest versions.

Go to downloads and download JPeMu version 2.50 or 2.51, they may work better. (or as Gaz said, JPM now works on MFME2.0 + so it may be written for them.

Couple of possibilities here :

'Failed to set data for' suggests to me a write error, possibly because the emulators are being run from a read-only media type, like a CDR. Did you buy the emulators on eBay at all?

However, it also suggests that you may be running as a limited user in something like Windows XP, whereas you will need to be an Administrator user to use the emulators. Are you trying to use them on say a work computer?

If not, I'm really not sure about this error.
