look above the big error sign, a button there marked register, to the left of that is a button marked sign in.
Are you able to use that button, if so click it and sign in again there, and try downloading again

There are no download limits, just logout and log back into the downloads area.
The downloads module is not linked directly to the main site. What generally happens is that a user registers for the main site and then logs straight into the downloads before they have validated their main account. This doesn't allow them to download anything, hence the message. Once you validate your main account you need to logout of the downloads and log back in again to update the download privileges.

Suppose this is as good a thread as any to point out that I've been unable to download anything since the site 'upgrade'.
I log into the site, go to the downloads area, and try to login. I get 'Login Failed', and am using Firefox?
Bit hard being a moderator and not being able to download anything

Still no luck, getting :
Error:
Login failed. If you believe this to be in error, please quote the above error and report this to the admin
Back
Definately using the right username/pass combination (or rather, my usual site username/pass). Also no email or similar to suggest a new account had been created

Like I said Andy...Laptops are a bugger sometimes. Must be some setting in internet options or one of those progs in your system tray disabling some graphics. Have the same problem with a lappy at work...It will display graphics on some pages but not on others. JPEG's are fine but GIF's are a problem.

Change your settings on security to low, allow everything and I bet it works.. Oh yeah and post your IP address on here for us and allow remote connection then one of us can help you. Make sure you leave all of your porn in a directory called //Jamesleach and I am sure it will work.
Thanks

OK, total stab in the dark here but I'm guessing you might have non-alphanumeric characters in your password. If so, change your password and have another go. Also you don't get an e-mail for a new download account if it's auto created.

Sorted, removed the non-alpha characters from my pass and it works fine now
