Save your excitement as he's nowhere near the player he was when he left. He's still a good finisher but nothing like as sharp as he was when he last played for Liverpool. Any pace he had has gone and to an extent, the appetite too. As a City fan I'm not bothered he's gone, you're totally welcome to him as he's made no impact for us - I'm happier having Cole there (despite the baggage of being ex-scum). Maybe coming home will rejuvenate Fowler a little, but if you think its god's second coming you're going to be sorely disappointed. I find it very surprising Rafa signed him but if you second spot then it's all good I guess

what he will give us is passion and commitment to play. The lad cant wait to pull on the shirt and get out on the pitch. Yeah he aint the player he used to be and he's not got the pace anymore. But he cant be a lot worse than that wife bashing Cisse can he!
His work rate and passion for the club will work for the rest of the players too, he'll push them to try harder and do more work
All we want as liverpool fans is for him to give us 100% and i can guarantee he will do that. The lad loves liverpool so much he's gonna be running after balls left right and centre. Dont be surprised if when he's substituted he's taking up roll as the ball boy just so he can get near it again

LoL, I see where you're coming from but he doesn't have the stamina to play out a full half anymore. Seriously, what you've got now is a shadow of the man who left, I've seen nothing in the last two years to suggest otherwise and can't see how that can change round by next Wednesday
Just get second spot tho will ya so the prawn eaters have a totally failed season

never fear united shall not win a thing once again....ok so they have a chance of the carling cup but cant see them thinking that as a success.
Out of europe, aint gonna get FA Cup and premiership is well........sadly gone really
oh happy days

Wow, Liverpool have signed Robbie Fowler again? Nice, he is a fantastic player (and still is). Fair enough he may not have the pace of when he was there before, but pace isn't everything!
I want them to sign Michael Owen again, he's wasted at Newcastle and at Real Madrid, they got him cheap though 8 million. (Real Madrid got him for 8 million, don't know about Newcastle). So Liverpool may need to pay a big sum to get him back if they want him back.
