If you look on the left you'l see a link called knowledgebase. if you look in there it should have the answer to most the problems you come across using the emulators and layouts;)
but im guessing your a lazy bugger so heres the link:- http://www.fruit-emu...isplay.php?f=25
also if you havnt got the fmw installation wizard you'l find it here - http://www.fruit-emu...index.php?cid=1.
also there you'l find some newer emulators . when you download a machine it should say in the notes what emulator the layout uses;)

Right, you need to download an emulator. There are several to choose from. MFME v3.1, JPeMu v2.5, or BFMulator v2.07. Make sure you unzip them and place them in their own folders. Next download some layouts. Make sure you put the right layout in the right folder. Most layouts made these days are for MFME but it usually says within the filename which emulator it is for. Unzip an MFME layout into the MFME folder and then start-up the emulator. One of the options on top is SCAN which you need to do so the emulator finds the games within the MFME folder. You may need to tell the emulator where to look, which is the DIRECTORY option next to scan. When its finished all detected games will appear below. Double click and you're away. Small note: some games have mouse clickable buttons and some you have to use the keyboard. Read the readme file with the layout.
