Already had a £100 JP from it, currently running on Dual Stake £100/10p and £250/20p. Considering (when I get some more coins, which I will do later tonight or early on tomorrow) setting it to £250/25 or 30p, but still not made my mind up.

Need to double check the following things on it - I want to make sure it is on High Jackpot Freq (more jackpots, with fewer small>medium wins offered), 72% payout (lowest I can set it to) - I want it fairly nasty, but with more jackpots :)

One thing I am having a bit of trouble with (which I am going to mention to the supplyer) is that a couple of the reels have been 'sticking'. An example being I went lower higher than a 4, the number reel spun and then jammed - finally landing on 8 and killing me. Also the right hand reel has lost sync twice - it found sync immediately after but may as well mention it now incase it totally fails later on.

Still very playable and a good laugh :)

I know Monty is turned off, thats only because I can't find an extension lead - I still love it :)

This looks really good Ben.. .Better get them problems looked at now.. They never right themselves, they always seem to get worse if you leave them.

The problem youre having with the number reel is an opto or flag misalignment.

If you look inside the reel you should see a little plastic thingermebob.

That's what tells the mpu when the reel is where it should be.

Could be faulty, could have been jogged out of alignment when being transported but either way is an easy fix.

All of my reels ended up needing tweaks when they were taken out of the suitcase

My 4mp camera is dead and f***ed, so I had to do this with a webcam :S

Its not bad, good webcam I have so only problem is res..

Anyways, heres the opto and on the reel itself theres a little plastic stick that pokes out and goes thru this.

This is without a doubt whats causing your issue.

Youre pretty lucky really :D

We just moved into a new house and so I took out all the fragile parts of the machine and bought them over in my car.. the main lump is still at my mother in laws tho :(

Harumph, soon

thats one good clubber Ben......

Remember, get on the feature and you go around the board just Once without a fruit you will get the 'COCOOOONUTTTTZZZZZZZZ' without fail .... Drops 2 more coconuts straight in I think is the good win.

Can you do that? I'd love to do that on my PCBC but can't see a way to do it, only alter the percentage right down. Is it a feature of the board it has that lets you do this or is there something missing from the PCBC user manual?

Ta,

Chris

Well, as you may or may not be aware, this Crazy Fruits machine may not be here much longer. The supplier has agreed to come out and swap it, possibly with another Crazy Fruits, or maybe something else I like the sound of...

As for the poster above, I don't know if you can set jackpot frequency on your CPCB, although I'd assume you could. You will need to know which DIL switch on the MPU5 board you need to change though.

I'll be scanning (if the scanning part of this knackered Lexmark All In One works) the manual for Club Crazy Fruits as it'll no doubt come in useful for someone.

On the subject of faulty machines, does anybody now what would cause the lamps to light in sequence at a third of their normal speed?

CPCB cannot be set to jackpot-high, but it does have a crazy internal setting that makes the reels spin different directions, ie r1=up r2=down r3=up r4=down. looks hidious, try it and see..

i sold my bellfruit club money to burn, and what a tight sod it was, even with the jackpot high it took just over 2 weeks to force it!.
i did find with jackpot freq=lo that it would still give me the middle game, but force anything from 5-40 quid on you, obviously more frequently.

if memory serves me well, ignore the feaure game, and just hold bells on line or in view, eventually it will nudge - just like the cashpots in CC+R.

Club Dungeons and Drag Queens.

Gameplay appeared unnaffected - pish as per 95% of the time. but the lamps were so.....sloooooow.

Not to mention the fact that the "The Crown Jewels" lamps don't work at all, and never have done.

i would say the mpu has developed a fault as its the piss epoch tech.

Does this fault effect the gameplay at all? Because i can't see the club owner noticing the problem, nor any of the other players, and doing anything about it as they are not the most sensible bunch!

And is it a progressive fault that will get any worse?

it wont affect gameplay unless you really begin to find it annoying.

if it was a machine that i serviced then i would want to know straight away especially if its a clubber.

just thinking that if the machine hasn't had all the official updates then it could also be the lamps and switches board at fault as these were all updated at some point last year.

if its gamestec that do the machines then it probably hasn't had any updates.

Ok Baz, (btw I love the avatar :D), what do you think about my Crazy Fruits problem?

It'll be playing fine, one reel will lose sync (say the Hi-Lo reel, I'll go higher than a 3, the reel will jam, stop on say 10 but still kill me). Shortly after 1 or 2 of the main reels will also go out of sync. Seems that when one goes, so do some of the others shortly after.

Is it just a whole set of knackered reels, or could it be something else?

Either way the whole machine is going to be swapped, but just wondered what your thoughts were? :)

If more than one reel is doing it I would assume it's the reel driver board.
