You are probably about as chunky as me then
My main nick, Bencrest, came about because it was very easy to change the Barcrest logo to say Bencrest. My first name is Ben(jamin) but my surname isn't Crest

My Nick I've used online for years, any network, online game it's ALWAYS been Daemon
Daemon dictionary definitions...
daemon
n. inward spirit; personality; genius
The term comes from Greek mythology meaning "guardian spirit"
and NO, its not linux related (for those computer buffs )
The X part came from a friend of mine online, back in the days when I used to run a chat room on Virgin.Net, (50+ regulars, actually met 35 of them in Bristol and London once)... anyway... back to the story...
A girl called Gina liked this bloke, and another girl called Carla also liked him.... they got fighting (as girls do) and because Carla had been a regular for 4 years and Gina only 2 1/2, most of the room got behind Carla and got agressive.
Those of us that supported Gina (who then became GinaX) also added and X.... hence DaemonX (pronounced Day Mon X).

Believe it or not my name isn't Gary...It's Grahame...The Gaz bit came about because my ex-girlfriend used to call me it anyway....The Eyre bit is my surname...but it sounded like Gazza (Gazeyre)...so I stuck with it. 1966 is the year I was born.

A mate of mine's initials are S.R and his nickname is Gibbs, can you guess the link?
