Hi all.
I am asking this question as you lot are the brightest people I know. I have brought an arcade cabinet machine. It has a Jamma PCB with it (a football game) and four joysticks with 6 buttons each. I have gotten the 25" monitor on so know this works. However it is not connected to the Jamma loom by the look of it. I considered getting a PC put inside and running mame (getting a JPAC/IPAC and VGA card) inside it however would like to get the jamma working at the moment via the PCB. I have no idea how to set this up - the loom looks pretty much intacts but the previous owner had a pcb in there and as I know nothing about any of this wouldn't know how to connect the controls/ monitor up etc. Does anybody know a step by step guide to reconnecting jamma boards.. Wiring diagrams etc.. Pretty much anything.. Or has anybody got any other advice that might be of help to an amateur like me??
Thanks a lot guys.

Hi all,
Now I have the monitor working and plugged in to the jamma board. All working, even managed to get the sound working. The only thing is now I have no joysticks plugged in. I have loads of cables left over that look like they clip on the controls but they don't seem to do anything. Is there anyway of finding out which is which for the controls??
Also if this is too hard has anybody got a pin out for the jamma input that I could use to directly connect to the controllers??
Many Thanks in advance,
James

But already fixed it now, yeah!! I had followed them back on the board and tried them one at a time and worked them out that way. Now got a fully working Jamma cab with a footy game on to go with all my other arcade games. Will get a fighting game PCB for it though as soon as I can, instead.
