I managed to get a Genesis/MPU5 manual and it says to put the machine into test mode press the "test" button on the MPU and then select what test routines you want to perform using buttons A B C (the holds)

i.e
Coin Handling test
Reel test
Lamp test
etc. etc.

My machine (king Kebab) just gives you £5.00 worth of credit when you hit the test switch and nothing else...(no matter what combination of buttons you press)

Any ideas ?

If you look further down into the depths of the machine you should find a second test switch. You need to press this and the other main one at the same time IIRC.

Uhm.. Hope there was nothing in there about complaining about the redirections.

Ahh haa found the little bugger hidden away..

Ran all the tests says I have a few bulbs out... I even found out how to adjust the volume

Sorry if you have told me once already, I can't remember that or even seeing a picture...?? the last thing I was looking for was the hopper dump button thingy

one sw which is the mpu test sw and the other is under reel shelf unit press together it will some time go from demo play then into test once press together a second time
