10-4 Good buddies!!!
Sorry, but I'm on another nostalgia trip. Does anyone remember (or still) use CB Radio? In the early 80's after it was legalised it was just so much fun. 14 was the breaking channel and I met so many people from it. What happened?
Probably Playstations and computers. Remember Thunderpoles, Silver Rods, DV27's, Mag Mounts?
Remember 9 as the emergency channel.....getting skip in the summer and you could talk to people abroad?
The bugger playing music on 14 so you couldn't get out, button pushers?
"On the side" to try and interrupt a channel to get in.
I haven't touched a CB radio in almost 15 years. Is it worth getting back into it or has it died a bigger death than Clive Sinclair?
10-10 till we do it again.

Heh ive got a mate who used to have a this big american car, a Pontiac Le-Mans IIRC, he had a magmount with this huge whip aerial and he used to seem to think he was straght out of The Dukes of Hazard lmao, tbh I think he was a bit mad.

I used to love CB's, especially in the early 80`s. It was an enjoyable way of making new friends, and meeting hot chicks:)

Well when I first started 19 was the truckers breaking channel and 14 was the normal breaking channel. I don't know what happened but obviously 19 took over at some point.
Lincs, I used to know this guy who rode around on a chopper with his rig, aerial and car battery strapped to the back. That all stopped though when one day he went round a bend and his battery (tied on with rope) flew off and burst into bits spraying acid all over the road. What a nutjob he was...lol

I used to have the handle Mythicos. Honestly the name was from a greek film I once saw and I used it for many years on many forums on the CB. I used to roger the 69er over and out.

Yeah I used to be into this big time in the late eighties to about 93.
Went under the handle PK ripper and had a tristar 777 and a sirio 2012.
Also had a bremi BRL 1000 burner, but less said about that the better, it wasnt exactly legal
Used to have some great laughs.
14 AND 19 were the break in channels, but 19 became more popular as the years went on.
