Bloody hell, don't you know how eBay works?
No offense but £300 start with 9 days and 2 hours left - I can't see it finishing below £300.
As for it being an awful machine, I reckon it would appeal no end to the blue-rinse brigade

I know how ebay works mate - god I am obsessed with it.. lol
But all the Section 16's I've seen on there have been started at £600. So my point was this is the lowest starting price I have seen on one. Plus they haven't been selling, so who knows?? I go to Bingo.. lol.. Onl way I can visit my mom... Bet the blue rinsers would love it..

Lord knows why they put it on a £300 start, I'd have started it on a penny to generate more interest, and also save on eBay fees (from memory a £300 start rather than a penny start means you instantly pay eBay a couple of quid more to host the auction).

Makes no difference if they set the reserve at a higher price, thats the fee you pay

...I didn't imply that there would be a reserve price

the arcade it is from (churchill leisure, boundary road, Portslade) is merely quick off the mark when it comes to only retaining 4 section16 machines.
some people have noticed that some arcades are seemingly bursting at the seams with all these new s16 machines, but since the law has changed, they will have to sell them all off.
so if a machine has a multi-player machine, it counts as either 3 machines or 4 machines out of the 4 total allowance.
i played red hot fever in that arcade, never did get the £675, but got the £450 a good 5-6 times.

Does the 4 section16 machines count for bingo halls?

the law for bingo halls is not that different, but they can have different machines.
as far as im aware, the law change is imminent, and you should see a total demise of many of the section16 machines.

The Gala near me has a trio-grande, 1x golden roll, 4x party slotto, 4 player elvis and two little devils.
Surely they cant be aloud this many?

Almost the same as the Brighton Gala too....
I do think though that as a Bingo hall is for 18+ only with no exceptions to any part of the building....and you need to be a registered member (as in a Casino) the rules should be more relaxed.
