I aint done a DX in ages , Kept starting them and they seemed to fizzle out , lost the bug so to speak ,Am sure a lot of people on here know what i mean. Thats the beauty of FME just when you thought it was safe to carry on with family life something grabs ya and ya hooked again buried in Photo shop Dxing again Not eating sleeping and snapping at loved ones lol .
Well thats what happened to me again when i seen Wizard had uploaded his Flyers and i came across this beauty of a machine Razzle Dazzle .

This is the first time ive Dxed a Flyer so be gentle with me , Not sure if ive totally got the lamping spot on found it slightly different to Digis which is what am used too , So any comments on how i could improve this would be gratefully welcome .

I must say this was an absolute joy to DX it helps alot when the machine holds great memories for you .

Seems to play best in MFMEV2 Sound wise ..

I couldnt work out how to upload it into mpu3/4 section with the new set up lol very confusing , prob just me its late :)

Big thanks to Wizard for his flyer and to Pete for the classic..

Hope you enjoy..

Toddy

A big well done from me too. :)

There are a couple of things that I can advise though that will improve the layout mate.

The first thing is the alpha display. It looks a little crumpled up at the moment.

Here are a couple of alpha displays you can use that will make it look a lot better.

The lowest size you can resize the alphas to, (the alphas attached to this post) are 156x17.

If you try to resize them any smaller, the writing looks all wrong. So what I would suggest, is to make the space for the alpha display on the background of the layout a little bigger if you can so that it will fit in nice and snug.

2, or 3 pixels either side should be enough.

The other thing you could do is to convert the reels on MFME2.0 to the new reel type.

Just load up MFME2.0 like normal, then go into configuration and check the box 'Convert Reel' before you load the layout.

You'll need to resize the reels to 200 or so, then save it. This will make the layout run a lot faster and smoother, which should get rid of the dragging sound problem.

Thanks again for a very nice layout. :)

LOL. It didn't appear in the 'new posts since last visit', so I assumed it hadn't been mentioned yet.

It's better to receive advise from two people than nobody mate. :)

Cheers for the comments glad yous like it .

Thanks for the smaller Alphas too Ady Ploggy Great minds think alike eh lol.

TBH i didnt know they even existed lol thats my naivety for ya .

If Adys on the ball the new version should be uploading now lol Just kidding when ya get time m8.

Cheers for pointing out about the convert reel Ploggy again something i wasnt even awear of , Ill change that too , As you surgest ill widen the background for the alpha , something av always had probs with only having a 1024 screen res cramming the alpha in , with the smaller alphas should fit in nicely .

And Thanks Ady for pointing out the stray overlap , something i missed ..

Thanks again

Cheers Toddy

Toddy, afraid I can't add to PM's but this is the suggestion to house the new Alpha......

As you can see it's a nats cock you need to alter.......if you want to do that to your Art and rezip it to here i'll gladly alter the download for you, seem's a shame such a minor thing is highlighted on a good release---then that may be good as it's the only thing really picked up on!

The image attached it a guide so you can see how minor the adjustment needs be.

DAD may be worth upping these?

Done :)

Thanks Adydb. I've not had much time to sort stuff out for the downloads section, but I'll get around to it in time.
