Ah yes....about £180 in a totally fixed Dels Millions in a skanky pub called Ruby Tuesday's in Irvine. At the time I didn't know it was fixed...but found out later it was 'cos the management were in debt.
I would have sued but they sold up pretty quick.

Mine was £785 in a casino on the £1000 jackpot machines about 3 years ago. My m8 tho lost £34,500 in Marconi back in Jan 2001. In one day they went from £1.26 to about 39p. All because they went from defence to telecoms. He lost a good few £1000's on ntl too. Now tho he is doing very well and has just about made his money back.

The most I have lost is in a Joker Poker PLUS (the differnce being for anyone who doesent know the PLUS machine has a random screen that appears from time to time - a selection of cards which you press to reveal different win amounts- good for £2 - £40 depending on how the machine feels )..
Anyway I walk into my preferd arcade (NOT a Quicksilver) and am told that the JPP has had about £70 in it but the player (a regular player who does know his stuff) did not think it was going in the right direction (these machines being capable of occasionally going on HUGE eating streaks)....
Anyway I figure after £70 its bound to give if nothing else a £7.50 or £10 win after a few coins and I may aswell try for at least a couple of gambles- after £4 I get my first win (3 of a kind) which went without much hassle and thanks to the help of two swap cards straight to the £15 win - (nice I think) even nicer when Im offerd a THIRD SWAP CARD.. now a swap card one gamble away from jackpot is usally a sure fire sighn that the machine is going to give you the £25,,, lovley I think £21 up and perhaps a little streak of £15-£20 afterwerds.. ... anyway the swap card is a 6 to a queen. so I go lower - but to my amazement a king comes in... ouch,, but atleast its pretty hot....
Over the next £6 I get now less than 10 wins (including a four of a kind) all gambling upto atleast £7.50.. but then always killing me on safeish looking cards.
then the machine turns on me (as they can do) the next £50 is painfull, only a handfull of wins come in and never gambleing to over £3.
I have now done £60. I leave pissed off but cant help but think that £110 in (£70 from last player + £60 from me~) should be enough to get it going, and another £10-£20 would win me back at least £40.
The next day I get paid £220.. before work I go in - play for on ahour £50 NOTHING over £3 and now nothing collected for £160! I go to work. come back (machine has been on hold).. the next four hours drain me... £170. of dead play- and a scraped bank of £30 which goes in about 10mins of dead play...
Thats £280 with £30 of wins which went back in. plys £70 from previous matey = £350 in a joker poker plus £25 JP.
IT GETS WORSE..
Im broke so I dont leave machine on hold... next day matey who lost his £70 before walks in.... (I know all this because I have a mate who works in this arcade) at proceds to put in another £120 for £50 out...
Thats £470 in a Joker poker plus for £50 out.
