Well, after watching the Boro get into the QF of the UEFA last night, i found myself a bit pissed up and shuffled over to the new machine in the pub, one i'd never seen before - Stack Attack.

Well I had £120 on me at the time, so i thought sod it, 10 note in - I DID NOT GET ONE HOLD IN 10 QUID!! Still, surely it's just the calm before the storm? Another 10er in the slot, 9 quid into the tenner, still no feature board or even a bonus.

Eventually I got on the feature and was shafted when on 4 quid, so i thought i'd keep going just to see if it starts to be kinder.

Anyway, this morning...£20 to my name...that bastard took 100 quid off me in the space of about 30 minutes.

I'm off the machines for good now, that's it!!!!

Weird, another Red Gaming machine that has led to someone wanting to give up machines. I've not played a machine at all for about 3 weeks now after a similar experience on a Jackpot Genie - no holds for about £20, several boards at say £1.50 that killed on a two afterwards... lost £60 in one night and about £60 a couple of nights before.

Yep mate, shocking that!

I honestly cannot remember the last time i played a machine and actually enjoyed it. All it does nowadays is stress me out. Can probably trace it back to when they bumped the jackpots to 25 notes actually. Before then, we had the likes of Spiker The Biker and Battle Axe etc, fun to play, don't take the piss as much and generally will give you something to do rather than just pressing start over and over!

yeah thats red gaming for you.

they work in certain cycles unlike most other machines.
eg

they will take in huge amounts of money without giving feature boards ect but then randomly spin in wins of 15-20 quid .(not many pub machines do this)

red gaming machines also payout the biggest streaks if your lucky to get one.

spin in wins of 15-20 quid?? Hmm never had this, despite playing red gamings almost every day!

Although yes agreed they do the biggest streaks, but they cost a fair bit to get them often

Machines over the last 5/6 years have changed so much. When I used to go up meggies when I was 16/17 you could play eastenders or lucky strike and only lose about £20 in hours and hours. More features more often. Now you can go more than £28 without a feature, nudge, bonus, win. It is disgusting I think that it has gotten so bad.

yeah i've seen them spin in £15 and 20 quid wins quite a few times but it all depends what software has been installed in the red gaming machines as the arcade software plays so much differently to the pub and l.b.o software.

also some suppliers dont change the programs when the machines have been put in pubs so to the original topic starter if you are in the pub again look at the stack attack machine and look for a symbol up beside the coin mech area and the one with a pint glass should be lit,if its the picture of the fruit machine thats lit then its got arcade software in it which tends to take so much more money in to get any type of feature.

I've actually had a good experience on Red Gaming machines.
First time I went on one it was a Bonkers on £5JP. I got on the board on my first pound, and in 3 fruit steps had secured a nice sum of £4.40, which rounded up to the fiver. I constantly get £3 to £5 wins on Fruits U Sir on my first few pouns so I think they're good. It may be a time difference, where the bad machines are the later ones. I've seen a Crazy Cobra guzzle plenty before killing a person on the first Hilo, and now this about Stack Attack? I do think it could be going with the times...

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.

Just been in for a quick pint and to pick up a couple of DVD's and checked the machine and it's actually set to the pint glass. Must be a thief everywhere. I put £1.20 in it and ironically got 3 holds (thats it though).

NOW i'm finished
