Yeah have to agree FS 2004 and all the add on packages are quality. You can download loads of cool stuff for it on the net too. I am surprised there wasnt an fs 2006 this Christmas normally come out every 2 years. I find with flight simulater I wont play it for ages then normally during the summer when off uni I am never off it

not really in to flight sims myself, but one that sticks out as one of the most popular of its time was Falcon 3.0
Absolutely raved about at the time, I managed to get a god on it at the Computer Shopper show in the early nineties.
Great set up it was too, they had the Thrustmaster joystick and throttle control attatched to it (would have set you back about £300 at the time)

If you are still into that St. Maarten airport then check this site out.
http://www.sunsetbeachbar.com/livecam
This is the pub to the right of the beach and adjacent to the landing strip, it apparently shows live landings although you have to register and tbh the webcams haven't worked properly since I tried...but it's a nice site anyway. Still get some nice pics of the birds...lol

thats because it emulates your dvd rom drive and you need the games. thats how the ps1 emu used to work and i think there using the same method for ps2.

I played Microsoft Train Simulator for ages but had to give it up because I lost large chunks of my life playing it.
Being able to burn across Blackpool seafront in a tram, or Manchester to Stockport in any train I liked was quite fun. Easy to play as not many keys used but dead addictive. Especially trying to stop at stations correctly so passengers can get on and off plus keeping to challenging timetables.
I would have replied to this thread earlier but I thought it said 'stimulator'.

I used to love flight simulator thought they might of brought a later addition out this year, normally go to and from this game, when I play it I really spend ages playing on it. (Used to crank the air traffic upto 100% was amazing at busy airports). Whats the longest you have ever spent on a simulator whether it be flight, train or ship simulator? I once did a whole nine hour trans atlantic flight once, which seems sad now in hindsight lol

That depends if they are iso's or rips of the info that any pc dvd can read. there is disc protection on all playstation dvd games if you can imitate this as well then i dont see any reason why it wouldnt work.

I once flew a 747 from Humberside airport to Manchester via australia. Left it flying on its own while i went to sleep for 6 hours lol. all in all it took a long time, cant remember just how log. This is a screen shot from ship sim 2006. Just tried to sink her but she just satyed afloat. Is a bit difficult to get the hang of. It took a good while to get her up to full speed.
