I read the result in the Malaysian GP:-
FISICHELLA = Came in First
ALONSO = Came in Second
BUTTON = Came in his pants at being on the podium.....even though his team is pretty hot.......sorry Jenson, best result from you this season fella I think-----you don't deserve the seat.

3 years of bits is enough for me ........

very boring race, not much in it from start to finish.
I still like button though, he aint exactly been with the best of teams but has improved, something to look at this season will be the difference between him and barichello.
Both in the same car, Barichello has come from ferrari where he has been used to having one of the best cars and regular podium appearances. Will say a lot at the end of the season when we see where these two end up
Problem is there aint a lot of british drivers at the moment, if we gonna go on past performances for a britain lets take a look at Coulthard, he should have retired 5 years ago but jsut keep going and getting nowhere

I can't understand why coulthard is an f1 driver. He must sell a lot of merchandise or something becuase I have been watching f1 for over 20 years and he has been in really good cars and never won anything. He has continually been outclassed season after season by all of his team mates.
I am a big f1 fan but stuggle to remain interested these days due to a lack of good drivers, continual rules changes especially when any red car wins, a stupid qualifying system, and a tire war that doesn't seem to be doing anything except making a brand of tire totally uncompetetive on one day and the opposite the next race.
I hope the big manufacturers start their own series as bernie has completely and totally ballsed up f1.
how i'd improve things -
get rid of this car lasts 2 races as it doesn't work and just messes things up as teams are forfieting qualifying so they can change engine and fuel extra heavy. I want to see the fastest car/driver on the day get pole not who sacrificed his race by qualifying light.
have single tire manufacturer, tires make far too big a performance difference to be different. Everyone has access to same tires, give them the soft, hard and wet, monsoon tires and let them run which ever they want when they want. Just limit them to a certain amount of changes over a weekend.
qualifying system where you all have same set amount of fuel, three lots of one flying lap and an aggreiate of your best two laps is taken.
Set qualifying at one hour but make it so you have to do go out when you like once in each of 3 20-minutes segments.
have two leagues in one race, ie something for the smaller teams to go for, league status decided purely by teams budget and the points system remains the same though. top 8 for all leagues not each league.
Cars can start with whatever amount of fuel they like but limit the tank size so they need to stop at least twice. No fueling extra heavy when on pole at monaco lol. If possible try to shorten pit lanes so piting is not such a huge time penalty

well your wish for a single tyre manufacturer will be granted, michelin have confirmed they are pulling out (believe its the end of this season) so will only be bridgestone available

And is this a reply by them to A1 I wonder?
Nah and Bernie isn't bothered Jim, but he should be.....the time has come for REAL competition, A1----Equal car's from start to finish.

I like Kimi, he is a very good charger and up there with schui. Only problem is i think he's inherited Johnny Herbert's luck!

It might be his last chance to beat schui as the bridgestones seem under par for the second year running. I think schui will call it a day at the end of the season. He set the most poles ever at bahrain so I don't know what records are left, maybe Mansell's lardiest "needs to have the car redesigned so he can fit in it" driver record?dont worry kimi will win this year he so deserves to!
or Herbert's non-finishing " I just can't seem to get the car home in one piece" record
Herbert should have been called calamity james, his very last F1 made me laugh. He was driving around a corner and his back axle just detached its self from the car. Two rear wheels and an axle just got left behind as his car continued in a shower of sparks. Unbelievable bad luck.

just to throw a spanner in the works here, but i think that kimmi is the last person who should win the championship! i think that hes an arrargoant little shit who throws his dolly out of the pram every time somthing goes wrong, and his interviews are classic dull. he doesnt care for the fans and doesnt even give 1min of his time to do interviews! Even schueey gives more time in interviews than that little git, hes all self self self, and blames everyone else for his misfortunes, ron dennis and mclaren will be well shot of hime next year. he gets all the bad luck hes deserves and i for one love it when he goes out of a race. HE DOESNT DESERVE IT!!!!! jumped up little squirt!!!
im a big f1 fan and i thing the new kid on the block at the moment (rosberg) will be the man to watch in the next few years, and b4 i get slated im not doubting kimmis skill and ability, hes a fantastic and skilled driver, but just an aggorant prick!
there rant over.
i hope button wins for GB this year.

kimi seems a nice enough lad to me
he's a bit dull sounding but hakkinen was just the same, i think its something to do with been finnish . english been a 2nd language won't help too much either
I think he has been very patient with mclaren after their terrible reliability. It must be frustrating as hell the amount of times he has been leading only for the engine to blow up or his suspension to fail yet again
you want a spoilt brat go no further than montoya, the most overated driver of them all, he is reckless and rash, not a good combination in such a dangerous sport. And whats he won? sod all

Hmmmm did I see on Sky News at 6pm our Bernie Ecclescake gave a massive loan to the Party in charge?.....I'd have thought he'd spend this getting a 9" leg extension!
------------
Slight change of pointer now..........I think the GP is far too screwed-up right now, A1 is the way to go--racing as it SHOULD be--Nation V's Nation totally on equal par, as well as a ticket costing £40 (top price weekender all areas) rather than the £275 basic GP one that only just allows a visit to the bog!
A1 is racing and competition

montoya's reckless style of driving comes from his years in Americas CART series where aggression is the key. In that he dominated in 1999 and 2000 before moving to F1 in 2001
Personally I like his style at times, he's willing to push harder to overtake, i remember his first races and he was pulling off some great manouvers.
