If anyone has not seen it already (not been around here for a while, so dont know if anyone has posted about this already) watch HUSTLE on BBC 3 (its on NOW!)
Biggest pile of crap I have ever seen regarding UK fruit machines.
Since when can barcrest mpu5 machines be set to 20 percent percentage via a percentage key?
Since when did the average machine in a pub/arcade show the data it only shows when the door is open, when a refill key is used?
Since when did they start making fruities that pay out their percentage over 10 quid?
Load of balls the lot of it.......

Yeah UK fruit machine bit was a load of balls, AFAIK machines can be put on percentages < 70 with dodgy ROMs though .
Rest of that programme is class, especially the pickpocket stuff.

I disagree.............most of the things shown are total con's, if you were in that position of the 'victim' I think 99.9% of us would get stung.
It's easy for us watching knowing beforehand that it's currupt, if you are there its a total different story.

I suppose you're right Ady,
I remember the time we rigged a pack of cards when a mate went to the loo.
We were playing poker for money, (although we counted the money before the con), we rigged it so a mate would have a great hand.
I believe he had 4 queens or something similar, he also had the LOWEST hand on the table
But I have been conned once, it's not a nice feeling.

Thought the one where they managed to steal a man's laptop from a table in a cafe was pure genius.
Woman walked in, put her bag down at the table and asked him to mind it for her as she went to the toilet.
Another woman walked in and walked by the table really close to the bag, followed by a man who grabbed the handbag and chased after her as "he thought it was hers", laptop owner stood up to tell the guy that it wasnt hers and that its owner was away to the toilet, and at that point one more man walked in, lifted the laptop bag and walked out
Brilliant, and will teach me to keep my laptop chained to my person when I buy one
