ok, its the first ever version of the italian job, and this is what my friend told me the problem is!

",I brought it off e bay and it worked fine, just decided to sell because i need the room and haven't used it for months, when i switched it on i just got a few lights come on and nothing else. I dont know anything about them so decided to sell for spares or repair. Could be something simple and easy to fix but not sure. "

"Its been in the garage,Its very dry no damp ,no wires been eaten through. When it is switched on there are some red lights on the board and one is out but i dont know if this is correct or not. There is a red square button which a thought was a reset button but nothing happens when pressed"

Thats All I Know!, if Anyone has any idea of whether its fixable, or whether the fact the machine is just initialising!

Your thoughts would be great!

Thanks

it most likely to be the psu there maybe a dry joint on 1 of the pin connectors, damp gets in any garage through the floor, its advised when storing machines in garages to put them on wooden pallets.

it may just be a fuse thats blown on the power supply or as lincs said a dry joint.

these power supplies come up every now and again on ebay.

i can have a look at my workshop for you but i will be unable to test them.

its the first italian job he's meaning.

if your unlucky it could be the gamecard or the character chip but the first thing would be the psu.
