Occasionally I go to amusement arcades to see if there are any new machines which look worth trying but usually can't find any so I play on machines I am familiar with. Yesterday I was in Blackpool and had lost £9 on machines I have played before (I have a limit of £10) when I put my last pound in a Cashino 500 machine. I have never played one of these video machines before so was not sure what to do. I saw the stake was £1 which I changed to 50p. On the first spin I won £124!! On the second spin I "won" 10p. When I got home I started thinking about what would have happened if I had left the stake as £1. Would I have doubled my winnings or would there simply have been double the number of lines which may or may not have doubled my win? Any suggestions? Should I have carried on a bit to see if the machine was still in a friendly mood? I get the feeling that some poor soul(s) had lost a lot of money on this machine previously if it was prepared to pay out such a large amount in one go.

These machines are classed as random, so even if you continued it is not guarenteed you will win more. You may even lose a lot before it pays you a decent win £20+. The comment you said, someone had so lose, well to some extent they did, but again these are random. So they could do £10, £1, 50p, £500, £500 etc. If you did do £1 stake then i think, it runs seperately, but the percentage will increase.

i always play on 50p or £1..refuse to play anything on £2 after losing a ton down a mega slot in what was probably 11.5 seconds.... i only get like 5-10 quid of its bonus features though

The most i have won on a sec 16 is £16 off reel king slotto on a £1 stake. I also won £12 of jukeboxes on elvis top 20 with a £2 stake.
