lmfao...... went into my local campbels bout 3 weeks ago.. just as a laugh i asked what the odds were on david hasslhoff being the banker... they gave me 6-1.....couldnt beleve it.... was expecting them to call sky and say there was a complete nut job asking the silliest question since is ure parrot dead.....but no..... he was quite willing to accept my bet... so... all in all.. i stand to make £7 if the drunken bum is the banker.........

Not really thought about that...Who is the banker?, i'd have given 1 000 000/1 on yours matt but the way the guy presents himself it's either a top banker with a sense of humour <-- noo way......or a celeb of some sort to 'add the cheek' advised by a straight laced banker.

Did you see todays show. The guy got offered £7500 + a chance to play 90 mins at Old Trafford (He's a big footie fan) He said NO DEAL and then lost all the big boxes. Went home with a grand.... Ouch

I was a stand in on a saturday quiz show he did - can't remember what it was called, but he used to have the catchphrase "I've been round your house".. He was an arrogant tosser, who really considered himself to be above everyone.. I think he was possibly one of the cheesiest and crappest hosts I came up against (I am always watching them film TV shows, so have a lot to compare it too). Noel is much better!!! Girl who was with me on the standins was an FHM highstreet honey --- she was hubbabubba.

This may have been mentioned earlier in the thread, if it has then i'm saying it again lol i heard a rumour which i had no doubt was a load of toss but thought it was an interesting theory. Don't really watch DOND cos me dad's doesn't like it. I heard that the banker is just a member of the production team who's in on it. Not a real banker at all. The contestants all play along as part of the fun.

Another theory i heard that was even more crap than that, is that there is no one on the other end of the phone at all. Noel gives an offer based on what he thinks the contestant will take.

Don't believe them for a miunte. Gave me a laugh though.
