Used to have a serious Red X problem when that came out. Was playing it pretty much every morning in a local, although was doing pretty well out of it.

Loved the artwork and the sound track as much as the gameplay. Most of the people that played it at the time didn't have a clue, which probably explains why I was doing so well on it :)

I loved the old £2.40 repeater HI-LO games like bellfruits cashforce/cash attraction (which is on the WIP page of DXcellent btw) or barcrests take two. I
was addicted to trying to get the £2.40 repeater of skill cash. cant beat the gameplay of older fruities in my humble opinion.

Yes I enjoy BFM's Cash Explosion, as well as Manhattan Skylines from Maygay, and some of the System 5 JPMs like Intrigue and so on.

The best Hi Lo game of late for me has to be Revolution (and it's two follow-ups Battle Axe and Golden Dragon). Great gameplay, a very fair Hi Lo gamble, and a few steals to be had. This is one game that you might sometimes have to put £10 in for a feature but not mind very much, as you feel you have a good chance when you do get on the feature. Another good thing is that most of the time you know when the gamble will lose, and then you can collect what you have, rather than lose the money and then chase.

A far cry from most Red Gaming machines nowadays where if you catch them at a bad time you can part with £20 or more for a board that loses on a good number first gamble.
Watch out! There's a SIG thief about...

I agree I love revolution and clones ( although I thought Ultimo looked a bit tacky) anyway although some slate it I find it normally plays a fair game. I have only played it at 10p £5 and has streaked for £40 on a decent day. I find it practically tells you to stay away if its in a bad mood ( i.e. once charged £9 for a board 10p £5, on bonuses will you extra symbol instead of anything decent, gives bad numbers without steps etc .

The worst hi.lo in my opinion would probably be nuns and roses (mazooma) or for emulated games hi stakes qps (happy to roll in a 12 when going lower than an 11 when only on 60p 10p £5 version
