:?: if your not interested in selling it why post a stupid question in the first place about how much you could get for it,it just don't make no sense, its clear to me you know how much you can get for it,I think personally you want to sell it.

well some people are stupid enough to spend £100 on a microwave manipulator that dont work and there is some people out there selling pie factorys for £400 or more so maybe i could make some profit out if it. No i dont want to sell it if anything i will be buying more machines if thats ok with you.
if someone offered me £400 for it yeah maybe i would sell it after a few months.
Yes i have just bought it and no im not selling it was just going to see if there were any microwave manipulator buying idiots out there willing to over the odds for it

i got it for £275 but i had to pay money on top of that for delivery if you read it properly i said if someone offered me £400 for it i would sell it make £100 profit on well near enough anyway so i might keep it for 6 months and then stick it on e bay and see what i get for it.

The longer you leave it the less you will get for it, unless you wait 10 years and it becomes a classic!

Could some one tell me the law for buying fruit machines.
I work in a Smack Converters store, ooops I mean Cash Converters store and I'm sure one idiot will drag a machine in the shop and ask me to "quote him happy!"

. Under the Gaming Act 1968, it is illegal for anyone to sell, supply or maintain a gaming machine (as defined in paragraph 5 below) unless he/she holds a certificate from the Gaming Board. Certain exceptions to this are dealt with below. A certificate is intended for persons and companies that sell supply or maintain machines in the regular way of business. Anyone requiring authority to sell a machine(s) on an isolated occasion may apply to the Board for a permit. A certificate is a general authority to sell, supply or maintain machines: a permit is limited to a specified machine and will be valid for a limited period only. There is a fee of £5920* for the issue of a certificate. Unless revoked, it is valid for five years and there is a fee of £4050 for renewal of it. There is no fee for the issue of a permit. Form GB6 is the application form for a certificate to sell, supply or maintain gaming machines and form GB9 is the application form for a permit.
You can get over this by disabling the payout mechanism and selling as "spares/Non working" i.e ebay etc...
Any person who wishes to sell, supply or maintain gaming machines must hold a certificate under Section 27 of the Gaming Act 1968.
The full regs...Gaming board link
But these rules tend to apply to people making a living outta buying/selling
operating etc..Home use rules are a bit vague..if indoubt check the above link...

Pie Factory is now a low priority machine. Not only has it been re-chipped and become unpopular, arcade owners can't get rid of them fast enough. The days of the £25 JP Pie Factory have long gone. Theres about 15 of them with £5 JP at 10p play in Bridlington alone. No £25 left. I reckon the value is dropping as we speak. Get it on Ebay if you want a remote chance of cashing in.

hi jaybee.
i also work for trash compactors (cash converters) in truro cornwall.
i build and repair computers and sell fruit machines in the shop.
all we do is make the customer sign a slip saying that the machine
is for non profit or gaming purpose only. i also take the coin mech out to disable coin intake, but this is left in the bottom of the machine, so the customer can reconnect if they wish.
i used to b a fruit machine engineer b4 cconverters, but lost my driving licence.
which trash compactor do u work 4????
if u want some machines, i have a good supplier.
