Just a quick pic, gotta go play darts in a sec :D

It's a 1024 (well, something like that) tall layout, will not be 1280 wide but the machine itself will have the same proportions as other 1280 WDX machines - I play on a monitor in Portrait mode, and with lots of side art I can't stretch the layout to full screen. Hence it'll have very minimalistic side art :)

This WIP pic is 'actual size', it will be that size when complete.
Time frame? Have next week off work, and will work on it in between other bits.

Not as far as I know. If they turn up I'd gladly release 2 layouts, one for each stake/prize. I'd assume 20p/£150 gave an entertaining game, but one reason I'm so fond of this machine is that it was the first clubber I played seriously in the old MPU34 emulator.

Spent from midnight one night playing it on one of my old PCs and couldn't sleep til I got the JP. Luckily it was £230 or so in off forcing to get the JP, and took about an hour. Thank fook it wasn't a JPM from a RAM reset or I'd have been up at least 10 hours!!

Just did a couple more little bits.

Heres how it looks, note this is on my CRT and I've yet to see what it looks like on a TFT monitor. I'll check tomorrow when I get back from work!

Note that this is actual size but the JPEG compression messes the colours / brightness / contrast up slightly, and can blur things a little :)

Mark 1 was easy to gamble the jackpot out on the cash ladder and didnt have any obvious block so they released mark 11 which was more erratic, had a £50/£100 blocks and would tend to gamble out on the feature rather than the cash ladder.

:D interesting to note that as this is one of the few, i think there were only two, Club Fortune (on just about every stake barring 5p £75) being the other, that i have actually Jackpotted without resorting to RAM files.

It's the music... lol

It looks like these ROMs don't support the £150 / 20p option :(

All I've managed to find so far are :

£75 / 5p
£100 / 10p
£200 / 20p
£100 & £200 / 10p & 20p Dual Stake (Half Prizes)
£250 / 25p

I'll have a look about mind. Seeing as how the cash ladder and centre amount are all redrawn anyway it would be a piece 'o pish to switch jackpots.

In fact maybe this could be the first layout where I could supply extra decals? Could have some different jackpot lamps to one side of the layout, which could be pulled onto the win panels as necessary?

Would that be too insane?

Mind you, changing the JP does reset the RAM, which includes Cashpots, so isn't ideal to do all the time.

It would however mean one 'universal' layout for all JPs / Stakes rather than having a seperate layout for each.

Did a little bit more today. The WIP image below is actually hosted on my webspace, as it's fairly chunky.

Proper week off starts tomorrow - the weekend has been more 'recovery' than 'time to spend on other things'...

Heres the point I'm up to. I've posted in the 'Requests' forum of Fruit Forums asking for some reel graphics, as I've realised I no longer have any on this PC. I'm going to hit a brick wall tomorrow without these reel symbols ;)

Basically I'm looking for the old Reel Symbol ZIP files which used to be hosted by the Repository, think there were 2, one about 7mb and one about 2mb.

If anyone has these can they please email them to me at bencrest fruit-emu.com - replacing with @ and removing the space either side ;)

Anyway, points to note :

1) I have the Mk1 and Mk2 ROMs (cheers Bugs Bunny!), and will release the layout with both ROMs in the zip, probably with 2 seperate GAM files (must be easy enough to do!).

2) I am toying with the idea of including different 'decals' on the layout. It'll either be set to £200 or £250 when released, but I am considering leaving some extra lamps somewhere on the side art, so you can go into design mode and 'switch decals' depending on which JP you would prefer. It means saving bandwidth for the host sites as only 1 layout will plenty of other settings. It also means people can play using their 'favourite' jackpot level.

3) Did I mention the reel symbols already?

D-W downloads section has alot of them split into manufacturer zip files.
