Hi guys, this is a lovely site you have here, I am hoping to become a regular contributor if I can.
I am thinking about buying a club fruit machine to use as a savings box. What I was wondering is, how much money does a note acceptor hold? I'm not rich btw, just wondering!!

hello and welcome!!!
most machines have a seperate cashbox installed for notes so basically you could fill an average size shoebox with notes.
beware though ...make sure you are buying a machine that already comes with the note acceptor as many machines have to have the correct softwate and note acceptor kits installed.

Thanks for that Baz!
So since it is pretty unlikely that I would fill a shoebox with cash (due to not having enough to do it!), I am not going to fill my machine up with notes either then!!
I'd quite like to buy Club Casino Crazy, with a note acceptor. This is one of the machines they have at my local club. Not really sure of the price though. I could get an old one quite cheap I guess, but it wouldnt have a note acceptor?
I sound like I am obsessed with acceptors, its not that, I just want a way to save notes as well as coins, when I have them spare!
Thanks again for the help!

the note box could hold thousands. since i have a note acceptor myself, its merely a gimmic unless you can fins a machine with one built in and is cheap as chips.
if you dont have much money, you`ll find your be opening it every 5 mins to get the temmer back out!

Haha nails, I do have more than one single tenner to put in!
I didn't say I was totally skint, I just dont have thousands to put in!
How secure are they, by the way... I mean, just supposing my house was burgled, is it easy to get away with the contents of the machine quickly, with regards to notes in there?

casino crazy club wont be cheap if you want the note acceptor version as they have re released it again due to it being a good machine.
jpm machines put the notes down beside the coins so if someone breaks into the coin boxes then they have access to the notes as well.
i prefer the barcrest machines as its a seperate cashbox thats locked seperatly from the coin boxes.

Both of my machines have JCM note acceptors-
BFG- Im a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here
Vivid- Devil of a Deal.
They have seperate cash boxes. I pay an additional £100 per machine for a note acceptor. I have easily been putting £300-400 through my Im a Celeb and only the base of the box being covered.

well even cash machines are hit with diggers...
its as secure as any other fruit machine, you need a key to access the inside and another to access the money box. the box its self is solid steel/drill proof.

Slightly off topic but when did JPM release the new version of Casino Crazy? I think i've seen it somewhere but not a club version just a £25 jp. I didn't know they'd done a club version too. Mine's £250 but the old one.
If i had a note acceptor on mine i'd be emptying it every 5 mins. Also, just wondering, someone at an arcade told me once that using note acceptors on a machine isn't always a good idea as the tubes/cashbox doesn't fill up and the machine can't pay out notes can it. You might end up forcing a jp with notes if the machine was empty of coins and it'd cost you a fortune. I did that the other night on a new Extreme machine. Most Daunting. Kept killing me on the lose square every time put over £60 in the note acceptor and ending up coming away £10 down. When it finally dropped.
It took ages, i usually use coins and i think i will from now on.

I heard that it doesn't matter what you use to put in a machine it'll still pay out the same way. But what you said is a good point, if it's empty of coins and you've been putting in notes, it can't pay out.

Especially if it's one of the £500 jp ones. You can lose a fortune sometimes using notes. Best to get change if poss.
