Big one in Swansea today - lasted ages - Shit myself.

On the Sky topic Ady don't think it's your destiny to have it - The Gods have decided that you can only watch BBC1, BBC2, ITV, CH4 and if you are good and do not swear much you can watch Channel 5 on Wednesdays and Sundays - Lol

Ady do you live on the Coast? I would like to know what the sea's like...I mean does it come over onto the roads at all?

I've just checked myself...The storms are up to the Thames, streamlines going west...Could be an interesting night!

Alth

About 4.00pm - Bloody hate thunder and lightning.

I have this stupid thing I do when it happens - I make sure I am wearing rubber sole shoes. They say that if lightning strikes you it will go to the rubber and nullify it. For the life of me I can't remember where I heard that rubbish - Cant see what wearing rubber sole shoes does when you get hit with a 1,000,000 volts - Lol.

It was probably heard from a mush in the Carosel - or I picked it up for one of my mates when we were on the piss - must be complete rubbish.

EDIT: What am I talking about - it is complete rubbish - isn't it?

Sorry Todd - Forgive that indiscretion - I forgot you were an meteorologist (day job). Instead admire yourself in your younger days - I have just "fished" out an old picture of you - Lol.

Just had my first half-thunderstorm since last year. Huge f*****g mamma's came in from the East and slowly but surely made there way in...and as soon as they touched our force field..and several fine flashes and bangs, the buggers dissipated. Well pissed off!!! Anything for you in Glasgow Toddy?

But im on the 2-10 shift this week :( there was another cell about 7-7.30pm ?? But just skirted past me and moved off to the west..Guys in the canteen said they heard a couple of rumbles but i heard nothing over the noise of the machinery :(

Aww well theres always tommorow to look forward to as this highly unstable air mass is going to be over us for a few days yet :D

PS..for £6IT i dont really know that much about the weather honest im just a storm freak i ws mearly quoting from "back to the future part1" :D
