Hi everyone... Little help needed ;)

I have been playing around with BWBs Jackpot Jokers in a quick test layout. How the hell do I work out which rom belongs to which set, or is there a way on working it out?

Firstly, some games have more than 1 game rom? and sound roms?

In the roms screenie, how many different set of roms are there? Is there say a Dutch roms set
an English rom set
and a Sound rom for for example?

I have loaded up the jj_sj_k.3_0 rom and as you can tell from the other screenie it loaded up after I set the % key and even lamps worked fine. I also went into the config and changed the charactor to BWB

The arse about which rom is need for the English version is we have one in a night club the missus works in. When turned on it doesn't say which rom
name is running like it does when I load up the roms in the emulator

Cheers :D

Hi mate. :)

The roms tagged: 'jj_____.1_1' 'jj_____.1_2' and 'jj_____.1_3', are the sound roms. And the other lot of roms are the program roms.

This may not work on MFME2.0 because of the CHR problems. Will probably work when the new MFME arrives.

I'll have a look at them though and see if I can get it to work. Don't hold your breath mind. :)

I was told I would need to save it in MFME v2 and load up it v3. They still have some issues with reel 2.1 error on some bwb games :(

If you did get it working I would get working on a classic straight away :D

Ploggy, how did you work which were the sound roms etc? by size?

Yes mate. Most sound roms are 512k in size, and the program roms double-up in 32 increments (32 - 64 - 128 - 256)

I just had a further look and it gives a 'Reel Opto 2.1 Error', like you said.

Plus I don't think you'll be able to get past the Character problems either. It isn't just a case of saving it, and loading it into MFME3.2.
It is a bit more complicated than that, unfortunately.

The only person that will be able to do the CHR for you is Chris himself (Wizard).

But he hasn't been online much as of late, so it might be a bit of a wait.

You'll be able to listen to the samples on MFME2.0 - but that's about it.

Wrong sound need V1?

If so just press space bar and this will clear the error.

Also may be of some use to look in the knowledge base, as this has a lot of frequently asked questions and answers :)

Hope this helps.

I dont think theres any problems with them mate...... its just they need individual chr files, and at the moment Chris is the only person with the tools to make them :( I had the same problem with the heaven and hell layout im working on. Something to look forward to though eh :)
