Can anyone help me with the following problem please? I have just changed the 3.6 v battery on the board and my fruity is stating "Checking Rom" and has been for the past hour.

Do I have a major problem? Any suggestions at all would be most appreciated.

Kindest regards

John

was the old battery leaking??? if the battery was leaking then its possible the acid has got into the tracks of the pcb

also make sure the battery was soldered into place properly. and if you removed the board then make sure all connections are connected as they was b4 u disconnected them.

hope this helps

is there an error code listing guide inside the back door of the machine? reason being i cannot think off hand what that code 92 is. bazpeep may know as he will have manuals in his workshop with bfm error codes.

According to the system manual, error 92 is a Clock error:

92 Clock error 2 - Clock fitted but not required. Remove clock board and return to Bellfruit Commercial Department.
