Iv been a big fan of the UFC for long time now...... really starting to get the coverage it needs:)
Anyone watching the ultimate fighter series on at the moment on bravo? its basically a reality show with all the best fighters around at the moment who arnt fighting proffesionaly, the prize is a 6 figure 3 year contract in the UFC. Not as good as the first two seasons so far but now its edging closer to the finals its gonna kick off a bit more i reckon
Oh and Sgt.... There used to be a few Mainly Judo fighters about but these days its pretty usless in the fights....as are most of the martial arts.... the three main ones you'l see are wrestling, boxing/kickboxing and Brazilian Ju-jitsu.

im sure they do hurt like hell if they work..... but besides, im telling you... you VERY rarely (if ever these days) see judo being incorparated into a MMA fight in a big way, put a good judo fighter in against someone who's good at wrestling, striking, and brazilian ju-jitsu and they'l get their arse handed to them. You need a wide range of training to fight in mma, judo being one of them could be helpful but not necessary at all.
oh and if judo is all you'v trained in then i think you'd have a very hard time fighting mma sgt.
Now il be the first to admit that matial arts such as Judo and aikido are imressive and great to watch...... but if its planned to be relied on in an MMA fight then frankly... you'd be better off sending your granny and her handbag in the cage:lol:
