I have been given an old Barcrest Celebration Club Machine. It looks abit of an antique (stick on the back says 1993) the machine switches on fine and you can put money in and it gives you credits, but it will not pay money out. you can here a trigger like its trying but nothing comes out.
Today i have fresh problem but its linked to my previous problem. As the machine will not pay out we have just been putting £1 through and catching them so you get the credits. Someone today has pressed collect and it is now saying refil needed call manager.
Does anyone know how to reset this? and is it also posible to put it in free play mode?

here is some pics of the machine!

it sounds like u got a coin jammed in the botton the the payslide that is trying to payout. remedy: unscrew the jubilee clip on the bottom of the tube and clear the coin thats causing the problem on the payslide.

My machine did this aswell. Somehow a £1 coin went into the 20p tube so it would try to payout as it new it had money in it but the £1 coin was too big 2 go through. If you do as link says it will almost certainly have something blocking it. To refill you normally need arefill key which u can get on ebay for about £2. When you put it in and turn the machine should go into refill mode.If you dont clear the jam 1st though refilling would be pretty pointless as it cannot payout.

it sounds like the routeing on the coinmech is incorrect if the £1 coins are going into the 20p tube. you could find out the routeing by nicely asking bazpeep. but if u want a refill key then i sell them at £1.50 inclusive of postage but make sure its the 87000 refill key that u require.

i have undone all the tubes and no money is stuck. it seems whay ever coin you put in it goes into the end tube.

so is there no way to clear it unless i have a refil key? how can i find out which one i need?

is there any way to put it in free play mode?

1st of all now u say that it sounds like A: faulty coin mech or B: the routeing plug is missing since all the coins are going into one tube. thats maybe why its attempting to payout from the tube that is empty. to get free play just open the rear door and press the test switch either once or twice then press start.

hope this info helps

If it is the same as my machine which the insides do look like then it is a black switch in the top right hand corner when you open the back of the machine. If you press it once it should put credits on for you to play and if you press it twice then press the button next to start it should go into emptying mode where when you press hold button 3 for instance it will try to pay out from tube 3 so may help you empty then tube all the money has gone into.

James, see the thread below. Duplu explained it all there.
Perhaps someone could move that post?
