I just tried to post.
I spent a while writing it, and hit reply.
I got an error message saying something, then got the same as this :
Ads are one thing, but ones this intrusive make the site unusable.

Well when I first went onto www.fruit-emu.co.uk I was greeted with a full redirect to a casino site and had to click on another link to get back to FE.
The main page loaded first and then was replaced by this casino site

And me. I feel there's too much everywhere now...Ads in threads, at the bottom of pages, at the top, in every corner a dirty little ad! And worse as you say are the intrusive ones like that and I had to exit IE thinking the site was down. If they just placed the ad there without permission we need some harsh words with them.

I think I've tracked down the offending advertiser but it might take a few hours until those pop-up things disappear for good. And remember although you might not like the ads, they do keep the site running as they now pay for the server entirely. Also the ads in the side panels can be shrunk so you never see them.

The pop ups seem to have gone completely my end.
The ad in the top corner can provide a use I think because it gives onlione game site ads which can make sure most of the members are posting ones and not just here for the arcade.

I agree with any ads you stick on Duplu, as long as they don't interfere with site access, I know sites which are far worse - constant popups of the 'your computer is unwell, click here to run XXXXXX to cure it' type things.

God bless firefox's block images as its eliminated 99% of the casino and other spamming ones.
The casino redirect i also got and it didnt even appear as a new window so popup blocker wont help, i'm looking for an option on pop under or redirects without warning as that might help!

Here's the other option keep your hosts file up to date and most, if not all these links cannot be displayed.

Works with all browsers, though I use firefox as matter of choice.

How abouts some ads with scantily clad women on them. If a full screen ad with say lots of semi-naked birds came up, I reckon no one would complain. In fact, I'd probably put Fruit EMU as my homepage.
