Hi,
Please can anyone tell me where I can get a power supply for my fruit machine the Italian Job - £10 jackpot - Red Case - Hopper.
When I switch on I just get one red light on the motherboard coming on, so I think its the power supply that has gone faulty, or is it something else?
Thanks
Andy

have you checked all the fuses on the power supply?
if you haven't then you need to check these before you do anything else.

What am I looking for in the fuses, I have had them all out, they seem to be ok to me?
The machine has not been moved at all, just tried to switch it on after approx 3 months and nothing happens, just the red light coming on in the middle.
Thanks
Andy

Hi,
There are no LED's on the power supply. The lights coming on the motherboard are all of them apart from L8???
The lights are in a L SHAPE, there is a slight flicker every second from the reel lights.
There are 9 LED's in total.
The power supply is grey, on it is some twist out fuses - 5 of them.
Thanks
Andy

i guess a mpu4 power supply then..
if you've checked the fuses and they are ok then i would imagine if its been in storage that it may have either a dry joint or the psu or mpu4 may be faulty.
i don't have any mpu4/psu's at all now.
maybe someone on fruit emu may have a spare of each but i would go for the psu first.

My friend had a similar problem like this with The Italian Job, it was a loose board and something else which i cant for the life of me remember... goes to turn on then you hear a sort of dull noise??? Ill ask him what he did.
Hope that helps (probably not as my information is $hit!)
