Sacre bleu!!! It's 1-1 now adyb and all to play for. I too want a Spanish win, not sure why though.
If I'm honest I still can't see us beating Portugal on Saturday but here's hoping we can find another gear.

I'm on the cider tonight. Hot evening up here. Unlucky Spain, they blew it in the same old story kind of fashion. Hope yer right about Saturday and we click up a gear, like the French. Couldn't bear to lose to Portugal THREE times in a row...lol
Still, being negative, I'm going for 2-1 to Portugal.
Sod that!!! I can't bet against the boys. 2-1 to England

I think Brazil win stick it up the French. If they do get through then we "owe" them too. Come on Lamps, Gerrard, Rooney and the lads. Time to start playin'.

Well I have to admit....before the game I wanted Argentina to win. But, having seen the diving cheating little shits doing exactly what they do well again I was willing on the Germans by the end.
Once it got to a penalty shoot out there was only going to be one winner...as we England fans well know

Awesome? Bit of high praise for a team who've stumbled into the semis. Sorry, but the Germans will do Italy in the Semi's. Let's all hope that England do the same tomorrow. Disappointed in the Ukraine. I think they were just pleased to get in to the quarter finals.

Ummm...I think 1966 may have "happened" before 1967. What the f*** are you on about? Sorry, did we win the world cup in 1967 as well as in 1966?
My mathematics work this out.....2006-1966 = 40
Is there a rupture in the welsh time/sense continuem?...Are you too busy with sheep?
What the hell are you moaning about now Alth?

Quoted for those with `66 alzheimers
1967: Scotland become 'World Champions'
The 1966-1967 British Home Championship was the first since England's victory at the World Cup 1966. Naturally, England were favourites for the Championship title. In the end, the outcome of the entire Championship rested on the final game: England v Scotland at Wembley Stadium in London on April 15. If England won or drew, they would win the Championship; if Scotland won, they would triumph. Scotland beat the World Cup winners 3-2. The match was followed by a large, but relatively harmless, pitch invasion by the jubliant Scottish fans, who were quick to jokingly declare Scotland the 'World Champions' as the game was England's first defeat since winning the World Cup. The Scots' joke ultimately led to the conception of the Unofficial Football World Championships.
need I say scots have had 39 years of hurt :-)
