Now i use it every day and is a part of my life. Well done to all that put this site together and all that make it work. ;-)

Me? You want to know? I'll tell you guys!!!
In January last year I got my first 200 or so machines from eBay...Great fun as well especially Ooh Aah Dracula and Vindaloot and that...I had all the emulators. Then I thought "Where did these come from?" I typed various words into Google and found this site.
At that time I was one of the twatty kind of guests...Ignoring the portal, not caring about Richard Whitely at the top but getting layout after layout for meself...Then I reached the daily download limit so I joined for what? More!!!! Then I ran out of things to download and decided to post to make an impression I was not just a twat after a quick download but I forgot about any verification email so that lasted a couple weeks. Then somehow a stroke of luck came and me account was verified somehow... Maybe it was added maybe I did click a link.
So thats why I'm here...Twat I used to be(Maybe still am!)Verification stroke of luck and posting member!
Incidentally the first post I made was a reply to a member called TwoBit

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,
visit Jackpottyforums
(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

Because this is my homepage. not only that i have a manual dns entry for fruit-emu.com at 127.0.0.1.
I stumbled on this site after searching for fruit machines after getting hold of a copy of a piece of software called fruits 3 written by Chris (someone).
I found the south park fruit machine from function1 which was also great and then found this.
been ere ever since annoying the hell out of ady and bitching around the newbies

Well I have been hooked on fruit machines since my mom used to take me to the local cafe when I was early school age. She used to go and play them and when she would win I would sometimes get 10p. Then on holidays and then on from there at Uni etc. I have been through stages in my life where I have wasted way too much on them £100s, but also manage to curb my addition with them as well for long periods (I am mildly autistic and obsessive compulsive which means whatever is going on in my life effects how addicted I am to things). I have always gambled within my limits, however sometimes set them too high if you know what I mean.. lol.
I used to write games on the home computers too like ady. I have owned and programmed on;
ZX80, ZX81, Spec 16/48/128/+, Dragon, Vic 20, BBC, Electron, Amstrad CPC464, Atari 400/800/ 65xl/ 520ST, Dragon, Oric, Amiga, Commodore 16/64/Amiga, and finally Hundreds of PCS and laptops. The game I used to rewrite most often (apart from hunchback clones) were fruit machines. Although however good I made them I always longed for true emulation of the ones I was playing... It somehow feels different and so I trawled the net looking and got nowhere....
Then I came across a disk at a car boot sale with some few games and emulator on. I can't remember what they were, but I was highly impressed.. Over the years these have got better and better and I linked one day to Fruit-Emu.. The people who run this site are fantastic and I cannot give high enough praise for them, which is why (along with the fantastic emulations) I come back again and again...
THANK YOU!
