This thread is hilarious.

Never had too much trouble with chavs, as I tend to steer clear of arcades. I play Club machines mostly.

However, there's plenty of irritating people to wind you up in the Workies, so I could start a rant about those places quite easily.

If anyone stands next to me while im playing a machine i dont know i stare at them till they move as im quite intimidating (even though i dont think i can spell lol)

Some guy the other night was steaming and rocking everywhere in the pub, he kept bumping into me.
I asked him to move and he said why im just watching... if he was sober i would have smashed his head through the machine next to me but instead i just asked the fit blonde behind the bar to watch the machine then put my hand on his shoulders and frog marched him out of the pub and told him to go home lol!

Lol quality topic and i know exactly how it is. Down my local arcade / bowling there will always be a group of cavs down there about 12-15 and they will always stand and watch, they are well past the days of trying to give advice but still pisses me off when they stand there watching, also makes me want to put more in + win more. I no longer gamble down my local as it is always the same situation and the machines are just dead. Before when i've been playing there i have literally turnt around and just said "f*** off i know what i'm doing" and they always seem to get the message. It aint nice being watched and i now gamble only in places which are not crowded with chavs.

 Quality thread guys. Found it when I was searching for something else so thought I'd post my story.

My wife was at a local bowling arcade for a works "team bonding experience" thing. I didn't want her walking home alone so I went down there to meet her but she wasn't finished so I headed to the arcade bit. Normally, I stick to the machines I know, especially if I'm not playing for long but on this night, they were either in use or I didn't know it so I thought I'd spend a few quid and learn a new one.

Hadn't been on 5 minutes when this "helper" appeared behind me. Offering not at all useful advice so when it held three times on two melons (£10 on a £25 jp machine), put me onto feature board and started flashing red, his not needed advice of "it doesn't normally win that high unless it's giving you the jackpot" really had me fuming.

I hadn't acknowledged him, spoken to him or even looked at him (aside from seeing if it was my wife standing behind me when he first walked up) so when I did get the jp, I got ready to walk away, especially as the party had finished so my wife was ready to go.

As I did so, the cheeky beggar asked for something "for his help" so I said I could see my way to buy him a drink if only because drinks weren't allowed in the arcade and it'd stop him bothering anyone else for a while when he told me he didn't really drink.

My response was "oh, that's too bad", took my wifes hand and walked out of the bowling alley with her and her colleagues, giving him a cheeky wave through the window as we walked passed it.

Ah, good times! :)

well i only got out of my 13th court case 2 months ago for beating up this type of people who makes the choice to pick the wrong guy and it was the last one i had to deal with. well , most of these guys are well known faces to the community and supposed to be the gang leaders etc.
for that reason most of them now knows not to get close to me so i never live any trouble with them :))
