I need some help here if poss , My ex has just refused to let me see her son who ive brought up for 6 years of his life , Ok he isnt my blood son but to me he is My Son .
Things went soar about 6 weeks back , to cut a long story short we were going away in Sept to florida , I backed out for obv reasons with us being split but she still wanted me to go , Which until tonight i found out was because if i didnt go she would have to pay full adult price for liam .
Now that ive dropped them in the (according to her) the shit , Shes refusing to let me see Liam .
There is no way on earth Liam would of agreed to this , Fcuk nahs whats shes being saying to him .
She want answer phone or reply to texts , Fcuking could kill the bitch cant belive she s so selfish to the extent of hurting her own son just to get at me !!!

Do i have any legal leg to stand on here ? Can i demand to see him there must be some rights i have ??
Any help would be extremely grateful I cant not see him again thats just not a option ..

Has anyone some advice on what i can do plz am at my wits ends here !!!

Sorry mate. I'm not sure on legal issues but women in general are just money grabbing bitches. I can't believe she's only wanted you to go so that she could save a few quid. Jeeeeeeezzzz!! That is just my view in general. I'm not a great fan of women just now. I propose a law that they should be taken back to the sink, chained up and made to wash, iron and provide condoms so us men can have mistresses and restore the balance again...lol. Were you married? If not, I can't see any legal comeback at all. If you were then I can get some advice but it won't be until tomorrow.

according to the law, she is the mother of the child, and up untill now would have or appear to have a clean slate as far as abuse to the child is concerned.

speak to citizens advise is your best option as far as legal assitance goes.

this may sound harsh toddy, but if its not your child then you cannot take legal action. you wouldn't have a chance in court unless you are the real father of that child.

Always difficult when there are kids involved. Just because a kid isn't yours biologically doesn't mean mean you can't love it just the same. I've been involved with women with kids. My mates couldn't understand why i'd want the extra responsibilty at my age. But there ya go. One of the women i ain't seen in ages but i always send the kids an xmas and a birthday card every year. I did love them like my own. I still do.

I'm kinda getting close to someone else with kids at the mo but a lot of complications involving her ex. Hope you get things sorted though mate. I bet ya there's people who can't understand why you could get so attached to a kid that isn't yours? Those are the people that haven't been in that situation so wouldn't understand.

sorry to hear of your troubles mate , it sucks , but I am in the same boat my ex ran away with my blood son after getting all she could from me , not seen ot hid shit for 3.5 years , and suddenly i get a £350 a month bill from CSA which doesnt even allow me rights to accsess so for next 15 years i am putting 350 quid into this tarts bank account for a son i dont see which is awsome mate , so I feel for you i really do. But I am his blood father and dont have a leg to stand on , I think your screwed look on positive side tho she cannot f*** you for 20% of your sallary for next 12 years.

This isn't f*****g fair. I'm maybe at liberty to divulge that this kind of scenario where a woman can screw an ex-partner and get her own way may change soon. Here's hoping!!!

Sorry, I wasn't talking about fathers for justice...They f***ed it up for themselves. I've just heard a rumour at work (I work in housing) that some legislation is going to change. I don't know when and where yet but it looks as if men will be given a fair deal soon...or at least a fairer deal than they are getting now.

Didnt really want to bump this topic back up but as it already has been ill expand on the situation .

Well after a week of text battles and Alcohol fuelled phone calls (not the best way to deal with things) Things have took a turn for the best..

Do yous believe in Karma ? I didnt but do now . Spent the last few days with my head in the poker tables , Entered a £10 Mtt with 500 other people nowt else to do i thought , What the hell , 5 and half hours later am sitting on the final table , Walked away with £1,100 for 4th place .

Now ya probably think am mad here and ya prob right , The prob was the hol being £900 short which kicked all this off , So i gave her the £900 winnings ..

Well surprisingly were speaking now and shes agreed to let me see Liam once a fortnight ..

Karma ? Well if yad seen the luck i had to get through that tourney something was watching over me which without that luck ad never of seen him again ..

yea hey nice one mate good on you. Lets just hope she dont throw a wobbly next time she needs money for something and pulls the same stunt. At end of the day the child would have started asking questions and belive it or not u be supprised there not that gullable. and will get the truth sooner or later

Will she errm.. try this same manouver when she realises she needs some spending money? Or new clothes for the lad, or if you get into a new relationship with a girl she doesn't approve of?

At the very least, try to get yourself into a better position and aquire a little ammo if she tries it on again.

I don't know her personal circumstances but as an example, if she's claiming benefits (tax creds/housing/dhss) she shouldn't be, because you contribute, or she doesn't declare stuff ect..., get yourself some proof whilst the going is good. Then when it goes bad, you have a bargaining chip. She blackmailed you, prepare yourself to do it back if needs be.

Nasty I know but she shat on you once, no one here would blame you for trying to protect yourself incase it happens again. Unfortunately, your stuck when it happens again and you don't prepare for it.
