Are you a pub player only or do you make specific trips to the arcades? Do you throw a few quid in and take small wins then walk away when you're up or do you stay till the death trying to force the jackpot?? Do you prefer the feature or cash route?

I dont normally play in pubs as I hate most £25 machines. Also if I play machines I like to be by myself to concentrate, I find it hard to play socially in pubs with your mates there. However if I see an old machine I like such as battleaxe rev and clones I might have a few quid in them. I normally pop into some of my local arcades normally as relaxation time, such when I get back from uni or after exams. I only play the £5 jackpots in there, the £25's always look dead. I only normally go into to play Red Hot Wheels and MP Flying Circus, normally about £10 is sufficient to either make you come a couple of quid up or at least have 30- 40 minutes of amusement. I very rairly force £5 machines, doesnt seem much point, unless its one of those globals which can streak like jiggin or spotted dick.
Regarding whether I prefer cash or feature route it basically depends on the machine and what mood it is in. i.e. On Red Hot Wheels I basically play for the Wheel roulette feature.

Deadly trying to force a bell fruit (especially one of the new ones)
The only bell fruits i would think of forcing is crazy fruits down under or fruit frenzy. and some of the older £5 ones like the origional crazy fruits feature machine. I do also tend to force barcrests like nails but it also depends where i am... if im in my local then its a yes.... if im in blackpool or somewhere then its a no as it has probably already been f*cked. also stay away from red gamings, the only time ill play one of those if i can see that its crying its arse off.... giving those almost full red boards. then some pleb walks away. bit twisted but hey.

red gaming machines are the most unpredictable machines out there.
you can bang in 100 quid easy and only get a couple of features but it can also be the other way round.
also they sometimes give good amounts on green features .

Me? I'm a strict arcades only player on the fivers!
I generally tend not to force them...Maybe in with a quid...Wait for another player...Stick the other in afterward, then thats it.
I only really force Lo Techs with topboxes when I feel like it...Only 3 in view feature topboxes though...Because you got big reels and its all dramatic and that!

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,

I only play the ones in the working mens clubs I go in these days. (I had stopped completelt for a few years)
I was never a realy very heavy player, but I have put enough in over the last 30years to know it's a mugs game. Having said that, I've had more big wins this year than in the previous 30 put together. :0
