Total Noob needs help

Right this is the stupidest question ever, i have tried searching the forums and i still cant work out the answer :)

So the question is how do i get any emulator to work?

I have downloaded Multiple Roms and every emulator ask for a .GAM file and every .rar i have downloaded dosnt have a .GAM file

Have you checked the tutorials link on the left hand side of the page? Useful information in there guy.

Have you unzipped the ROMS into the game folder and told the emulator where to find them? Most of them are .zip files so you will need winzip, not winrar.

A common mistake is trying to run a game in the wrong emulator. Make sure it is the correct one.

im only having trouble with the andy capp (mpu 3/4) ones now

all the others work ok

Andy Capp is a Barcrest machine so should run perfectly well in MFMEv1 or v2.

every time i try and load any mpu 3/4 roms it asks for a .gam file

Ensure you are downloading games with the ROMs attached, on some Emu's they are seperate...

Also I second Gazeyre1966 reply.
