i have just bought jumping jack flash scorpion 4 bell fruit machine from a friend.
he messed with the percentage dip settings and now the machine has no sound. the alarm will sound so i know the speakers are working.
does any one have any ideas?

dose the sound when it alarms sound like it is muffed or bleeding ie to much hiss or very basse

on your game game card there is an ic/chip which is about 24pins in lenth most of them have a white stick which is like 456119 not the sound or game proms dose this ic get very hot or has burn marks. to me this ic which is a decoding chip can be the problem,or the sound prom is stuffed from static.

what error code is on the alpha ie sound error 91

try and buy a replacement game card from the bay or a company that deal with the public

To buy a new sound card/program card it costs £100, if it is not under warrenty.

yeah as impact says if it is error 91 then you need a new gamecard.

there is no error message when machine starts up. the alarm only goes off if i unplug a cable on the reel which i used to test the speaker and sounds fine. one point to note is when i run through the engineering test mode i dont see any thing relating to sound at all which i found strange
