There ya go... I think its worked anyways (The attachment)
lol, I was sort of hoping for a screenie of the working product and not the errors. Still, maybe I should have mentioned that in my last postal offering.

Extract the attached DLL to your C:WindowsSystem32 folder.
Then Start, Run and type "regsvr32.exe msstdfmt.dll"
Try to run the program again and it should burst into life
Now we just need the 1024 version for all of us with 15" TFTs
Edit - didnt attach the f*****g thing!

I believe the dll you are missing is part of the vb runtime. you could try downloading vb runtime and installing it. or I will include the .dll in the next downoload and you can put it in the C:windowssystem32 folder yourself.
Firstly I would make sure you have vb runtime installed.

I thought the VB6 runtime came with Windows XP.
But anyway, it could be that its not installed as I havent got round to reinstalling Visual Studio 6 yet

Both Versions Are Here (sorry I c*cked up the upload first time)
Check the filenames for the resolution.
TO MAKE THIS WORK EXTRACT DIRECT TO THE C DRIVE, THEN CHANGE THE FOLDER NAME FROM Party Time 1.1 1024 768 (or 1280 1024) to "Fruit".
It will have errors if this is not so.

Apologies Mike, Slight C*ckup at my end.
I've made a bit of a mess up and saved the low res forms over the High res forms so the next few releases will be only in low res, until I can be bothered to Change it all back again (Took me long enough to get it to fit on 1024 * 768). However at least everyone can see the low res. Unless there is anyone here who still uses 800*600? :GULP:

I wish some of you would have some patience, namely YarmouthPunter and mjvaj123 .
I know first hand that programming is a long drawn out, sometimes frustrating process and you need to bear in mind that it can take a long time, and that guitar is doing this for absolutely nothing in return.
Have some f*****g patience.

Guitar, the 1024X768 version is still a little too neat (the buttons are cut off a little at the bottom and totally when you use the taskbar on two tiers like I normally do).
Also if you would like assistance with making each reel spin and stop, I have a few theories if you would like to show me the current spinning code via PM.
Anyway, nice work, keep it up

Upto now this is a very good simulation. Your hard work programming is certainly paying off. Thanks guitar

At present the reels dont actually spin they just decide whether the spin is a win or a lose and then picks symbols accordingly. I have a plan to make them spin but I wanted to make sure it could pick a win / lose correctly. If I need any help then I'll let you know, I don't really want people to see the code as its god awful at the minute it has "go to" statements in it (shudder). I need to refine it a little.
Once refined I might make it public so people can edit pictures etc to create their own Sims of other games.(Golden Game anyone).
The slave machine version will have to be 1280 * 1024 only so that it will all fit on the screen.

It is great guitar! I know is has just been released and is great but do you plan to add the unique features of PTA in the future like hold after nudge, nudge timeouts and hold after win? As well as actual holds, nudges and spinning reels.
I appreciate all of your hard work. This is a fantastic sim so far.
