guitar.........

Matie you proved you are doing the business........which you need'nt have done just to prove it wasn't balls.

Why not now put this on freeze until you and the testers are happy?

This will save like the last 40 posts that arn't being read!

This thread can be locked 'n' faved, and updates made by yourself via a Mod as and when you want..........as if you ask me it really is going in circles by new downloaders Q's.

hi guitar,

i've did some work with the reels landing sounds
because the ones that came with the sim weren't quite right

these sounds are better in the sim - they are not spot on but they are better than whats being used ( i think so anyway! :p )

of course that dictophone idea sounds good, would get them spot on as well. might make ppl suspicious though- might think your using some kind of RF manipulator thingy... :-I

i know its not the most important thing but hey, every little helps i suppose.

regards

john

I have never noticed VB eating memory but then again I'm lucky enough to have 2GB of memory and a 2.8GHz Athlon (not 2800+ an actual 2.8GHz)

Heh, you dont "notice" it unless you are sad (like me) and look for it by looking at how much memory the program is using (I mean stuff that I've written).

It would only become a problem for people with 64mb of RAM, or in VERY large programs. :p

Hi, sorry for the lack of update again. I've been wanting to get on it today but have had other things I needed to attend to. I should be able to make some progress. I know tomorrow is followed by a weekend so some of you might be up for a bit of a playing session. Therefore I'll defiately do an update tomorrow. I've just found a website dedicated to networking and Internet usage in VB. It is entirely possible that the sim could be made peer to peer. Therefore no server is required to run the game and can be free as servers cost money. Just one PC has to act as host. I'll be having a closer look tomorrow, but theres a possiblity of a network version in the near future.

Out of interest this is the longest thread in how long?

:) till tomorrow.

I still can't understand why people are having problems playing this...

Simply download the file to say desktop.... open the ZIP.... when it asks for a directory, SIMPLY CHOOSE C:/

it'll automatically download the correct folders (main one being called Fruit) and work fine.

Maybe you should have changed it to an EXE guitar, so it would extrat directly, then again... ppl don't trust exe's for some reason. :)

Howdy!!

Got a few pics but they are in a right state, so I couldn't even post them because they are so poor.. Had real trouble trying to take them because it was so bloody busy and the machines were either being taken up, or there was so many arcade staff hovvering about i couldn't do anything anyways cause they dont trust anyone!

I will try again on the weekend, because today Im doin a spot of fishin, but I will be able to get them some how! Only places with party time sitdowns is golden nugget and atlantis though.. :( But I will try my best!

www.fruit-emu.com[/url]

Yeah I knew that :). oops.
sorry.

I did that the other day and kept typing in fruit-emu.co.uk and couldn't understand why the site had disappeared. lol.

Bit of an update with progress. Nudges are behaving themselves roughly. Theres no holds after nudge or timeouts yet but at least nudges arent running backwards now. 3 holds works in that it spins in the win but doesnt credit the win. I need to go through the code again and see where this fault is occuring.
