Thought I'd make a new thread as the other was getting a bit long. I present version 2.0. This isn't totally finished and theres some updates I will do later such as the suggested sound changes. I've been stuck with a bit of code for about 7 hours now and I just completed it. Therefore to celebrate I'm releasing it. There are some known issues which are:-
* Holds after nudges aren't in place yet.
* Nudges DO NOT timeout so don't try you'll be there for a while ;)
*Third holds for win works sporadically but not every time.
*Top reels Dont show Jackpots properly in Streak Mode.
*Wins add up instantly and don't show graphics when banking.
*Some sounds are wrong (Thanks for mentioning this and giving me the files I haven't forgotten I'm just celebrating with this release.)
* you can win more than £25 without spending a credit.
* ram clears every run. I need to do a save/load file.

Any other bugs let me know. And if anyone plays for a length of time could you mention how well it seems to stay on percentage. There should be about £250 drift either way.

Percentage is done by controlled random. Therefore the fuller the "pots" are then the greater chance of winning, but if its paid out too much then you have very little chance of winning more than £2 on the upper game. There are three pots to choose from in the upper game so one may be fuller than the other and there is a streak pot which is a minimum £50 with a 50/50 chance of going further for every £25(E.G. max win per game is £25.)

Right then without further Ado I give you, *The Party Time Simulator Version 2.0* :):):)

Thanks for this release, one error I noticed was nudges are still available when a win has rolled in, when the win should take priority, otherwise it's getting better, thanks again.

Dave.

Yeah I forgot to write that one down. Thanks for the mention tho. Does anyone feel that it holds / nudges too much / little?

hi guitar, great job!
its really coming along nicely.

it does dish out holds and nudges quite a lot but i dont mind- i like winning :D
suppose a little less wouldn't hurt- in fact it would make it more like the real, tight ar$ed thing that way lol.

anyways keep it up!
cant wait for the next release, it keeps getting better and better.

john

*EDIT* don't know if its been said elsewhere but if you win over £100 it doesn't display the full amount in the bank - say you win £120.00 it will only show £20.00, cheers.

On a last credit (i.e credits = 0) you may still be offered a hold, and if this is the case, you can hold and press start, losing the hold and not having a spin :)

Just a small thing I thought I'd point out, but not a particularly important thing at this stage.

So far, *EXCELLENT* work. I know it isn't flawless but you've shown some geniune tenacity getting this far and I hope it continues to improve!

Hi,

Jus played version 2.0 and it does feel alot better to play and more realistic.. One thing which might not have crossed anyones minds, is if you can get 'Re-Lights' or in simple terms, jus goin back up on the top reel??

Anyways, lookin alot better, and as for those pictures I was saying about, I am going up there today most probably, so I will give it a go, but with all the lights in the background n stuff its gonna be difficult, but whatever, Ill try!

Well done, and Good Luck with the rest of it!

with the re-lights and stuff I will be doing some refinement today. A relight is actually possible as It stands but because of the coding the odds are about 200/1. Once I get the machine doing all the proper things ,Nudges, Holds, Third Holds, Timeouts Etc. I've had a bit of a play with the percentages and managed to get it to stay at 80% payout over £2000 cycled in last night.

I'm getting close to finishing the machine now so If anyone has sounds / artwork for Golden Game then if you could pass them along I will start on a golden game sim.

I haven't forgotten the special mentions and they will be in the next release.

it is not an emulation, it is a simulator. you have to extract to the c drive.

I myself would rather see a SEC16 sim next and i think the masses would like MEGASLOT by astra as it has similar feel to PTA with random top boards but with a £500 Jacky ;)

PS if anyone reading this can program C++ , Delphi or Flash etc PM me as i have a project in need of a programmer and theres money in it but not a lot lol ;)

Section 16 machines have been around in the USA for ages now.

There is a company who has a contract with Bally to sim their most popular machines.

Yeah not bad but you have to be online to play them and as there so high jackpots your never gonna have as much fun as the UK sec16 as only 500 JP so they can be realisticly won daily :)

Plus i love MEGASLOT but cant afford to play it :(

Right.. Got some photos today of PartyTime Arena 10p £5JP..

They might not be the best quality photos because they were taken on my phone, but they're big in size which is helpful, and there is alot of the 'Front Reels' because I didn't know what Guitar actually wanted, but I got a tonne of pictures of them, and some are darker than others, it was the arcades fault, not mine, but you can probably lighten them up some how.. There is 1 of the top reels, but thats kinda poor, and as people requested, there is 2 pictures of the Monopoly £5 StandUps, because he wants to emulate them too.. If you want any more or better pictures, please reply to this and if you can, before 6 tonight, cause Im goin up there again!

Dankeshun :D .. (Not German:))

Are there any other multiplayers there at the arcade that you could take pics of?
