I know of the 3pl and single player, as happy streak is emulated i would presume that the single player could be done as well. Even if it is done as a pdx.

There IS a single player version of Big Ben, and we do have the program roms for it but no sound rom. I've had a partially built classic done for years but can't find any artwork

Check out this small piccy. It's called 'Big Winner' and is another variant of the Happy Streak/Big Ben machine.
Theres a 3 player Big Ben in an arcade in Withernsea. The one with the Wimpey on the side of the arcade. Checked to see if I had inadvertantly snapped it but it looks like I didn't.

Yeah I know the very machine Compost. Never seemed to do very well on it
I could get some pics of it today if I wanted to, but I imagine its totally different to the standalone version which wouldn't have top reels.
I'm sure some decent pics will turn up in time.

The single player is its own mini 3 pl, it has its own clock with spinning clock handles, as well as the base game.

Well if its correct what CoasterDesignerpro said about it having its own top clock, I'm not sure that the roms we have will match up. I can't see anything on the partly built layout I have that controls a clock feature. No lamps light up during the win sequences that would indicate this. It performs exactly like the Happy Streak single player version.
Any Pics would be great though - as may as you like
thanks

There is one in my local, i am 100% sure about it having its own top clock. I tried to take a few pics on my phone, but there were loads of people and staff nearby as the machine had been moved.

Well I went there but my digicam batteries were dead and the charger has vanished.
Took a couple of phone pics dunno if they are any good.

Thanks for the pics - very useful.
Well useful in the fact that it pretty much confirms that I don't think this can be done with the romset we have. I imagine that a disc reel would be needed for this.
Here's the roms if anyone wants to take a look.

Just updating this old topic. Has the correct roms for this single player "Little Ben" turned up if so and anybody lives near torquay there,s one in the big arcade down there (I should've taken photos but forgot) and it doesn't use a disc reel only the hands move the numbers 1-12 are lamps, but even so as things have advanced since the start of this topic with mfme9.4 couldn't this be dx'ed now either within mfme or amber.
The more I do today, The less I do tomorrow.
