Quite suprised there has not been more responses to the night out as it will be a great laugh. I thought all the mods and admins wud be on board aswell as a lot of the more regular posting members.

I think it's probably because a lot of the people on here are South area - If we'd have said Brighton there would have probably been a bigger response... But none of them match Blackpool on the sheer scale of the rides (I am on about the fair here as well guys -- not the women), the beer, the arcades and oh yeah the women

But to be honest it will just be nice to meet up with some of the guys off here as it's cool to put names to faces and buy somebody a pint for designing a cool layout.. Shit I better get designing quick or I'll just be buying the pints...

ps. To bring this thread back to its topic, I am a workshop joiner. I make windows & doors and that sort of stuff. I enjoy it and the money is quite good, so can't complain!!

I need a replacement soon as i used to have sky liner ( window ) in the little room but i cannot breathe as there is no window anymore just a stupid plastic window .. due to last window rotted ... ya can hear rain .. hailstone / thunder which is COOL lol

Back to the thread....Was a bit reluctant to write as you all do far more interesting stuff than me and all seem to of done better for yourselves but sod it! Here goes!
I work in a chill warehouse doing order picking and driving the electric trucks to move the full cages about... getting a bit boring now as have been there 6 years but, as someone else said in this thread - "it's a wage."
In the past I have worked as a semi skilled wood machinist and also worked in a firework factory!
Have seen a job in the paper for a trainee field service engineer going round pubs and amusement centres updating machine programs and basic maintenance work... sounds interesting so am going to apply for it and see what happens.
In my spare time I like to go to places like Margate and Leysdown to be on the beach (when weather is nice) and go in the arcades, tho i spend very little in them... usually go on the 2p play fruit machines and the 2p pusher machines, tho I love playing driving games like Outrun 2, Daytona USA and The Fast and The Furious (Tho I'm rubbish at F&F). Got most of the high scores on the Outrun 2 machine tho (in Heart Attack mode) think highest is around the 1500 Hearts area.
I like 10 pin bowling and crazy golf too... played the latter at Hastings on Saturday... got 3 hole in 1's!
