Sodding British weather..........6 months without a cloud then Poss rain and this happens!

Its happening now they look like little speckles of light in the clouds me and me mam can just make em out with the naked eye wish I had me telescope but it got confiscated in the last raid

According to the Newspaper tonight's (Saturday) going to be 10x better....

I was at work last night cleaning me petrol station forecourt and I did see a few good ones. I get a cool view of Mercury at about 4.10 am. I will see if I can get a nice picture tonight and I will post it tomorrow. I will be looking up tonight to see if I can see any shooters.

Blimey a forcast of mine paid off...I remember last year I had a dozen members staring at the sky and it was the dampist of squibs!
11:25pm and still damn cloudy....hope including Jay it was/is good for some of us!

Dunno if this is common knowledge but it seems there is another event this weekend..Typical though as its been peeing it down all day here

Tonight (Sun 12th) is THE night............
Between 9pm and 3am...........30 miles a second these bits of dust are going!

Well just looked out, a nice clear night..........
And the small redish 'Star'..............south east'ish I think from where i'm positioned, thats Mars looking nice and bright.
