Only time I did one was an offer from this sites banner ads.

I was told I could play for 1 hour with 'their money', and whatever I made over a set amount would be transferred into real money.

Minutes into the 'pre bonus bit', I won £3500. The catch? I had to deposit £20 of real money and play out the hour, and stake the £3500 through the machine, and whatever I had left I could take.

What a load of complete shite.

I staked my £20, and entered the 'real' area. My bonus amount was NOT the £3500 it had earlier stated, it was £200.

To cut a long story short, I had to deposit a further £20, and forfeit the bonus cash. LUCKILY I rolled in a feature which paid £150 or so, and wound up with a postive balance of £62, which I could cash out - so I'd made £22.

It would be easy to cash it out, wouldn't it?

NO. Despite the fact they could debit money from my Visa Delta account, they couldn't pay back onto credit card for anti-fraud reasons (bollocks - if you can take payment from it you can refund onto it).

I ended up having to join several online money transfer things of THEIR choice in order to claim my money, and I eventually found ONE which didn't need a driving license.

Luckily I got my £62 back about 10 days later.

They even had the cheek to say 'we can send you a cheque uninsured, but you may not receive it. If you want the cheque sending by recorded post, it will cost £20 of the claimed balance'. £20 FOR RECORDED MAIL!?

---

Anyway, thats my experience of a US slots site. In terms of UK ones, I only every played on William Hill Casino, and haven't touched those since I gave up playing real machines seriously - so thats probably coming up to a year now.

Best I had was a £65 win on a 5 line slot from a £5 stake :)

On line Slot machines scare the willies out of me. It's bad enough playing £2/Spin with the money actually there in front of you. Clicking a mouse is so much more abstract, it doesn't feel like real money.
I enjoy on line poker, which compared to Slot machines is surely a much better proposition. You can play in tournaments which only require a one off entry fee and that way, you only risk losing a pre-determined amount of money.
There is a $200/spin slot machine out there on The Interweb somewhere, don't go looking for it, it'll eat you alive!
Poker also involves an element of skill, whilst on line slots is pure chance. Take advantage of promotions, but wowser! steer clear is my advice.

On line US poker sites also take your money by debit/credit card but require repayment to be made via Neteller or equivalent, which brings all the hassle of registering accounts e.t.c

William Hill allows straight forward debit/credit transfers without all that malarky. No currency exchange fees and cash handling fees.

Maybe one day there will be emulations of on line slots and even section 16s. Come on peeps, when's Party Slotto going to be emulated? Pfffft, in the mean time, come on now, who has done their nuts on the on line slots?
@_!!

Pah, Sky will let you play Barcrest - Elvis Sec16 stuff on £1000 Spin / £500000 Jackpot from the comfort of your armchair, and with nothing more than a Sky remote in your hand.

If that isn't scary, I don't know what is.

I don't recommend anyone actually tries that, I don't paste it as an advert, more of a warning of insanity that surrounds gaming these days.

If you want to win that sort of cash, get a fooking Lotto ticket and leave it at that. At least the 'entertainment' lasts until (and during) the drawing of the balls :)

Elvis top 20 on Sky TV is bad (i only play on free play!), although i did get 5 disks the other day on £1000 bet, stopped on X250, in the end i had roughly £380,000, took ages to get rid of it, i find whenever you want to get rid of money you get more, just after losing £20,000 i get 4 disks for £40,000. Eventually i did quit with £180,000.

I never play real play on those and never will, i like to see it in front of me.

Anyway, i would like a Rainbow Riches or Astra Reel King game on there for free play, i could play them all day, but do up the credit meter higher than £2000.

Biggest win for me has been over £15000 on an online machine with my own system - Labyrinth of Egypt. Started with £1000 stake but hardly touched it. Online slots have definitely made me far more money than arcade based ones - I used to lose on them all the time. Mecca site had one I did really well on at first, no - 2 I think - Egypt one and circus one as I recall but stopped playing there as payouts seemed to go downhill.

Does anyone know how to go about getting my money off them? f***sake.

I've tried emailing them a couple of times but nothing. Cheers.
