Wow, this was kept quiet. I have to say that this is pretty much the only fruit forum I go to. I'm not getting my hopes up but even if it got no further its the biggest advance on the scene in quite a while so the excitement is good to see. People will always be asking for what they can't have and even the people who flame them (me included just look at my sig) have to admit that they would like to play at least some of the newer machines.
I am not justifying people asking for Scorp 4, MPU 5, Epoch but if there was a large bold message for people when joining the forums it may help. It seems to be what most people write about when first joining so maybe if the message was a mandatory 60 second message less people would ask.
Anyway well done on the scorp-4 progress, if I can be of help in any way just ask.
If you're interested in older tech check out my party time update thread.

Oi ! - The Mecca is no longer exclusively an old farts club - For some months now it covers all aspects of fruit machine emulation etc
Visit the MPU Mecca @ http://www.fruitemu.co.uk for all your old fruity needs.

there is absolutely nothing wrong with hope. and i believe hope is a good thing.
bencrest was right, its been rather quiet on the scene for ages, and small threads like this generate alot of excitement.
can someone refresh my memory and tell me what other fruits are on this playform? ive got an idea most of the modern ones are?

Why don't you go to the 'official' thread at Fruit Forums? There is a large list of machines there and first hand news as it where.

Will they do childs tickets?
This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

OOOOOOK, Ive been swotting up at BFMs site and a few things struck me here- If your going to do a restricted s4 emu- fair enough. need to be careful tho guys as Crazy Fruits has been released by them again- I dont know wether its s4 or s5 though. its over there as Crazy Fruits Gold and it looks near identical to the wacky oriogional- its just erm, gold.
On top of that, theres a lot of add ons I noticed in s4 games that your mabye not going to be able to emulate- like the feature LCD in Club cop the lot, or the multi band reels in others etc. Youve also got diffrent styles of large and small alpha, dimming lamps, stereo sound
Unless everybody pulls the gether on this one the S4 emulators going to be restricted all right- itll do crazy fruits and thats it!

as along side with baz on the same area the mpu5 was always a parallel system by the mpu running its sr5`s + coin control yellow mk2 serial hoopers via the vending bus system on the mpu5 this aloud the system to run as serial nv8,10 ect now runs in the serial mode option unlike its old brother the genesis run all hoppers, coin mech and n/acc`s via parallel with out the need of a bnv key to enable it to work
epoch can run things like n/acc via the serial port on it self providing that dil/dip sw 2 was turn on talk from mpu to n/acc .the machine native set up was all parallel like again with the n/acc but drivin from the hopper driver pcb using dips/dils 2+4 for the mpu to talk to n/acc from the hopper driver pcb
eclipes is all serial no back was interface with the epoch system
same as the scorp5 (serial) not back compat with scorp4 (parallel)
mpu5 the power supply is still the same used on both
scorp4/5 change of the red wire will allow use of scorp5 psu on a scorp4
epoch change of psu not compat with eclipes
