Not sure if this is happening round your ways but alot of the machines in are arcade are now turning to 20p play while still keeping their £5 j/p.... i noticed it started with a couple of party times and a few oxo's... but now its just more and more machines, which is just making me play the casino for the extra 5/10p it cotsts, whih is making me spoon more
should this really be allowed?

Hey U.D shouldn't this mean that they pay out more often or even sprint once in a while (£30 - £40) ?? Anyway, at least you have the luxury of visiting an arcade near you. The only one we had burnt down a few years back and they've never bothered replacing it (the lazy gits!!) and since im stuck on an island 9 x 5 (in Jersey) I dont have an arcade to visit !!. In fact, if anyone is interested in renting a building in town over here and putting a heap of fruities in it you wont have any competition and will probably make a fortune.......
Enjoy, it's FRIDAY folks !!!!!

The payout percentage is still the same though isnt it? If so it shoudent make a differnce except you get less play.

No AMLD (Amusement Machine License Duty) on 20p/£5 or 20p/£8 tokens any more, hence the attractiveness for the operator.
If anything, a decent reputable arcade-owner will be able to afford a small increase in percentage when switching a 10p/£5 game to 20p/£5, to offset the fact that you get less games for your money and the throughput is twice as quick.
