Hi guys finally found this in a local arcade 10p play £5 jackpot
Plays just like the old line ups except when get to £2 you gamble to either £5 or 10p!!
Made by red gaming so plays very well in my opinion
Anyone else on here who lives in somerset I found it in the small arcade in Yeovil town centre at the bottom of the high street next to cash converters
Well worth the 20 miles I travelled just to play this old classic in the wild.

Hi Peter
I live in Weston-super-Mare. Go to the Olympia Arcade (next to M&S) when you get the chance. They have an original Line-Up opposite the change desk. Well worth the trip I can assure you.
Also they have an old Eachway shuffle at the back near the snack-bar.
Both games are 10p play £2 jackpot

Line up was my favorite fruit machine in 80s i used to go to great yarmouth and there must have had at least 1 normally 2 in every arcade up the sea front i used to work my way round i play them all untill the early 90s when they had been replaced with newer machines.i agree with peter the new one plays like the original the lights sounds the lot.
I was very suprised the origanal line up is still running at weston super mare if i ever get chance i will pop into the Olympia Arcade and give the old classic a go
Has anyone else got an original line up still working in the arcades??????

I have played this new 'Line-Up' and was gutted to see what had been done to the brilliant original game...
It really isn't line-up at all except in name..the features are as different as Chalk 'n' Cheese..no exchanges on cash or features etc etc.....
A joke really to even attempt to call it Line-Up

Ummm... not sure I'm really with you there, Ady, especially with regard to 'features' as Line Up didn't really have any. On Red's new version, exchanges are available exactly as on the original Line Up, either from cash to nudges or nudges to cash.
I remember the original well and I think that Red's version is a pretty good attempt at recreating it. In fact, I only saw one of these for the first time on Sunday in an arcade in Leysdown(!).
I only had time to put about £2 through it (which lasted 10 minutes or so). The only significant thing I noticed different from the original is that the new version auto-holds if you have the right numbers to reach a win. Some of the sounds were slightly different, and of course there's the £5 JP which you can gamble to. The original Line Up had a £2 JP, then 'Super Line Up' had a £3 JP -but you couldn't get to this from the board. The highest gamble there was from £1.50 up to £2 - you couldn't gamble from £2 to £3.

Oh. Sounds like there's a new, new line-up then. The one I was talking about came a year or so ago from Red Gaming.
The one you mention sounds *awful* -Line Up without exchanges? Yuk.

i used to run that very amusement arcade from 1998 to 2001,
i'll get out a list of all the machines i've had and write a long list of machines! some r true classics.
like supa steppa, eachway shuffle mk1 and mk2 and eacway nudger mk2's.

Played this myself in Brid a while back, played quite well with plenty of recycled wins for a bit longer gameplay. Was chuffed to see one and managed to make a small profit with the silly £2/£5 gamble.
Wish manufacturers would revamp some of the older machines and bring some fun back into the industry.

I was in Yeovil the other weekend for work and the line-up's still there along with a nudge double up deluxe to the left of it. The arcade was dead as a doornail though with some poor bloke sitting in a box at the end looking depressed.

Hi, that nudge double up deluxe, I bought it new in 2000 and was on £15 jackpot and used to give 3 to 4 jackpots with helding the reels as repeats!I was in Yeovil the other weekend for work and the line-up's still there along with a nudge double up deluxe to the left of it. The arcade was dead as a doornail though with some poor bloke sitting in a box at the end looking depressed.
can't belive it's still there 10 years later! !!!
